Remember back in 2014-15 when we would post ideas for Chima season 4 on the old LMBs (before we knew it would end in 2016)? Well now, I sadly don't think there is hope of Lego bringing back the theme's show and continuing the same story.
However, After seeing what happened with themes like Bionicle and Castle, I don't think it's too far off to think of Lego possibly rebooting Chima in the future. If Chima ever did get rebooted with a fresh start and a new story, how would you want it to go? Would you want the locations to be the same? Should the main characters be the same (like Bionicle reboots), or should they be different characters (like in Castle reboots)? Would you want new tribes? A story before the story before the great story? The possibilities are pretty much endless. On this topic, we can discuss how we would reboot Chima, and eventually combine our ideas into our own theoretical Chima Generation 2!
Personally, I think it would be interesting to see new characters, but it would also be cool to see the old characters in new ways. In my ideal Chima reboot, I'd eventually have a Fire vs Ice storyline similar to season 3 of the original series, but have it be reversed, with Ice being good and fire being evil. How would you handle a Chima reboot?

I'd say the characters and locations should all be the same, but I wouldn't want to have a new storyline, since that would mess with the canon. If they were to reboot it with a different story, I'd want it to have a sort-of alternate universe/timeline thing that could tie into the originals in some sort of interdimensional travel thing. Maybe with some kind of weird Chi that only exists in the alternate universe. I know that might seem kind of cheesy, but it's the best way I can think of to tie a new reboot story in with the old ones and not mess up the canon story.

Interesting idea! That actually seemed like the sort of route Lego was going with Bionicle G2 before it got cancelled. I think it would be cool for Chima to be rebooted (to attract new fans) while also crossing over with the original storyline (to attract old fans).
Jgread, you can't get enough posts for an avatar. You have to send a picture to Keplers or Helios in a private message and ask them to make it into your avatar.

Oh, I see. Well on my profile it said that I didn't have enough posts. [br]
Anyway, I think if Lego made a Chima G2, it should have a Netflix series like Bionicle JTO, because the people who made Ninjago/Chima G1/Nexo Knights apparently can't make more than 2 TV shows at once. If it did get an animated series, would you want it to have the same animation style, or different?

Yeah, that's because you don't have enough posts to make an avatar without sending a message. You have to get like 999999999999999999999999999999 posts for that.
