The Mantas and Sharks had been FAC-approved years ago, and the Chima of the RP universe is on a regular planet, not a floating continent like in the show. Yeah, it is starting to get a bit bloated with all these tribes. I actually came up with an explanation recently for why the Rays, Sharks, and Outland tribes were separated from everyone else when the chi was created 1,000 years ago (you can read about it on the other site), but I really don't know how to explain the Frigate Birds' and Hole Owls' absence in Chima's early history.
Ah, should've told me that eariler then. Yeah, thats quite a plot-hole of a conundrum to figure out.
Should the Frigate Bird and Hole Owl species be added to the Chima Roleplay?
Vote:
Option A: Yes
Option B: No
Option C: Undecided - 1 vote.
I personally am in the Option C camp at the moment. If Option C gets the majority vote, we'll do another vote a while later.
I've read their history and I find them quite intriguing! However, are new species outside of the established Chima canon allowed only in the Fanon RP or the main one?
I'm undecided as of now, but if riddlethomas agrees to your version that fits in canon, then I'll be of a yes. (I'm still getting acquainted with the lore of this place, myself. )
You have yet to see the wikia J's made. dang place is the GREATEST collection of info and stuff on this rp. Just wish i could pick up my fair share of the work and make more content for it. But i gotta whole lotta other things going and i don't even remember half the stuff my characters do and is too lazy to look back in the bloated history of this rp's boards.

An entire wiki? *runs over there...*
This is where the fun begins.
EDIT: I found a site where the Talon Industries Logo is displayed on the opening page and after picking the article on Lycor it reads as being created by JGREAD. Is this the right site?

What if there were levels to the planet, and only the Frigate Birds' and Hole Owls inhabited this level? The waters of Cavora would seep down into the second level of this planet, perhaps even transforming it. The source of where the most water collected became their version of the Chi Pool and they powered/built technology using the Chi from it.
Thus these tribes would have survived here, returning to Chima as the events in the upper level have begun to impact the underground levels.
Would this be a plausbile theory to tie in their absence?

maybe the storms between forneus and chima created a pool that is holy made by the first great illumination (I never heard about sharks in the rp).I think as another theory that the fregatbirds stole a huge amount of chi without drinking it,and gived a part to their nephew’s the holeowls.and they evolutioned on forneus.(I like the stormtheory most)

Tentative B, as no good explanation or lore story has been provided as far as i've seen.
patience, and maybe look at the HQ.and the frigate birds and hole owls could have as lore story that they lived on forneus and then the great illumination made a second pool.otherwise that after the great illumination a few birds were effected, and they built a tower that use the power of the great illumination that is the storms to make chi
Is the Fire v. Ice series coming to a close so we can introduce your aquatic tribes so we can possibly add these extra tribes? Cuz, we can make up what ever happens after the Fire v. Ice arc of the rp and it may end up evolving into a Fanon RP 2. Im egar to play my Shark Tribe because shorks are cool, but where would these other two tribes exsist? The other floating landscapes that surround the floating continent of Chima like it was in the actual Canon?
(now that i think about it, how the heck can an oceanic sea be held on a floating island? )
another theory is that they fly through high sky but can’t land lower than cavora by storms that only damage the holeowls and fregatbirds, because you not only have the balance between north and south, but also west and east
and if you want watertribes, possible think about electric ales and that beasts(crablike)that make supermuch noise and use it to kill preys(not really sneaky).
please vote for option A.batonmaster, maybe use glasses if you don’t see all of this theories and have a fived theory:the two continents and all islands were in the first one continent, after the great illumination the seas came and the fregatbirds and holeowls drove back a day after they picked very much chi(directly after the great illumination)

True, there could be a gigantic habitable cavern beneath Chima, as foreshadowed by all our tunnel networks. Like the "hollow earth" conspiracy, but canon.
