Eliaphet nods. Following his directions, she notices one particular Wolf rush past her. Jumping over parked speedorz, he overturns a table where three Wolf Elders were having their evening meal. A bowl of mashed potatoes splatters across one of their faces, causing the elder to rise from his seat in fierce anger.
Looking behind him, the Wolf laughs, knowing none could catch up to him-
*THWACK*
Crumpling to the ground, his eyes spin in circles.
Picking up the bundle that spilled from his unconscious hands, Eliaphet inspects it. "You have quite a uniquely shaped diet. What manner of groceries is this?"
"Ours."
A congregation of several Rhinos wearing white robes enter the scene, all bearing frustrated expressions. Their bodyguards brandish their staffs. One steps forward and opens their hand.
"Return the stolen tribe stone."
Eliaphet's eyes grow wide. "You mean to tell me this ruffian almost got away with a tribe stone?"
One of the robed Rhinos recognize Eliaphet and waves. "Ah, the cartographer ever persistent at her work, hmm?"
Eliaphet nods. "Indeed, was just about to make my way to the Library."
Handing the guard the tribe stone, Eliaphet questions him further. "What brings you here?"
The Robed Rhino waves the guard aside, confronting the thief himself. Grabbing him roughly by the arm, he lifts him onto his feet. "This young pup disturbed an important exchange. Recently, the Wolves came into possession of a tribe stone and displayed it as an artifact in their library. Of course, such things are desired by our tribe."
Pushing him forward, the Robed Rhino points to the nearby Wolf Elders. "You old ones. Have you no discipline to impart on this thief! And where is a guard when you need one!"

They hear soldiers marching in as the President enters the area with two lines of four guards on either side of him.
Wol'jin: "What's going on here? Are you saying this artifact belongs to the Rhino Tribe?"
Nodding, the Robed Rhino raises a hand to Eliaphet. "Excuse me for just a moment." Approaching Wol'jin, he performs a small bow.
"Yes, Administrator Roope here. And I would like it if we could continue a serious conversation elsewhere? A more official setting in a private manner?"
The young wolf pup kicks Roope's foot and sticks his tongue out before turning his head upward in disgust.

"The President will decide when and where such meetings should take place."
All parties involved look to Wol'jin for further instructions.

Wol'jin: "Well I'm certainly intrigued by this whole situation, so I will meet with Administrator Roope now. In the meantime, find this pup's parents. If he doesn't have any, take him to a detention facility."
Wolves nod, and walk away carrying the pup. The guards lead Roope and his Rhinos to the central government building, following Wol'jin to his office.

Maintaining a look of innocence, Eliaphet watches the group leave. She keeps her eye on them intently, mentally connecting pieces of an ever growing puzzle.
As the pup is carried off his protests snap Eliaphet out of her stupor. Behind her elderly wolves were cleaning up the mess of food. One in particular glared at her, grumbling as his bowl of food slid off his head onto his muzzle. Eliaphet sheepishly nods, hurrying away to the library.

Praising the Wolf Tribe's ingenuity, Administrator Roope remarks to his fellow official Rhini. "The great collective of the Wolves, such magnificence." Rhini merely shakes her head, glaring at him to tone down the praise.

Wol'jin, his guards, and the Rhinos enter the President's office, and he sits at his desk.
Wol'jin: "Please, have a seat."
Noticing the gruff stares and the no nonsense attitude of the Wolf Guards, Roope's knees knock together causing him to slip into his seat. Rhini clears her throat, her eyes a reminder of the punishment that awaited them at home should they fail returning a bit of courage back to Roope's voice.
Roope: "Erm, this artifact stored in your library is indeed a Rhino Tribe Stone, however, more pressing matters have forced our arrival here. The redemption of the Rhino Tribe has brought on many positive changes, including an opportunity to repair our relations with our fellow Chimians."
Rhini pulls up her arm sleeve, revealing a parchment tied around her arm with a chain held by a small lock. Pulling out the key from a pouch in her belt, she unlocks it and presents the parchment ceremoniously to a guard who hands it to President Wol'jin.
Roope mutters underneath his breath. "Oh how good of it for Rufus to do the heavy lifting. I'm not that best of a speaker."
Rhini responds in a quiet tone. "That may be, but we will not leave until that wretched musician is brought to justice."
{~The Rhino Monarchy Proposal~ To: President Wol'jin} Due to the dangerous nature of Chima's current state, a policy meeting between the Rhino Monarchy and the Wolf Presidency could not be arranged, however, we have agreed to send our Administrators. Away with the flowery tongue, we seek the formation of a trade agreement with the Wolves. The numbers regarding such an agreement are open to negotiation, but the Rhino Quarry is ready to resume production. In addition, we request the permission for the opening of a stonecutters business, strengthening ties and allowing for us to share our stonecutter's wisdom with the rest of Chima. Wolves will be allowed to open business within our territory as well, adding to the monetary gain for everyone.
If all of our proposal is to be rejected, know this. We will not bear a grudge against you. However, what cannot be disregarded is a certain tribe member of yours that has made repeated threats against the Queen. His behavior appears out of character with your policy, thus we hold you innocent for now.
It is our demand that this criminal be detained. What punishment he is to suffer lies with you President. Only keep him out of trouble. According to investigation, the wolf is elderly and answers to Whit. If needed, we will send our own soldiers to aid you in this hunt.

Wol'jin finishes reading the letter and nods.
Wol'jin: "This sounds good to me. Very well, I agree to the deal."
{JAMMERS! -Rhinos- ONLY!} Wol'jin: "This news about a criminal from my tribe is alarming as well. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll have this Whit found and detained as soon as possible."

I can tell my allies to keep a lookout for this new criminal, and we'll isolate him in whatever tribe's territory he's spotted in, for another joint effort capture."

Roope and Rhino exchange looks.
Roope: "Er, we would like for this to be kept quiet." Realizing his phrasing, his eyes grow wide and he waves his hands. "Noth-nothing suspicious of course. The Rhino Monarchy believes in transparency, but news of a criminal from the Wolf Tribe threatening the Queen's rule might stoke distrust among the Rhinos and we'd rather not have other tribes outside those involved knowing such. Best to isolate the problem between us two."
He glances at Rhina who gives him a small thumbs up before responding. "President Wol'jin, is there not a warrior amongst your own capable of such? Perhaps your guards may hunt him down discretely?"
OOC: I'm just realizing, isn't there a character within the RP already named Rhina?

Administrator Roope nods, admiring the various types of armor worn and making a mental note to acquire some for himself. The silence is broken by the thump of a cane. A wolf with discolored fur bows before President Wol'jin, holding up a basket of fruit. "My dues, the finest of my crop."
Administrator Rhina scoffs, murmuring to herself at such an intrusion. Eager to assert his position as Administrator, Roope harshly reprimands the wolf. "Who are you to interrupt such an important meeting!?"
The wolf rises, slowly with reverence for President Wol'jin before turning to face Roope. At the sight of the rhino horn dangling from the wolf's belt, the once proud Administrator moves back slightly out of fear. His voices cracks. "How-how did you get that?"
The wolf remains silent, glaring at him before looking at Wol'jin for permission to teach the ignorant Administrator a lesson. Catching this, Rhina motions her hand and coughs, frightened herself. "I see you are a warrior, a wolf of great merit. Perhaps you would be willing to join us in capturing a criminal, one of your own."
The wolf scoffs. "No one who dishonors the pack is one of us."
Roope crosses his arms. "You deny the wolf Whit is indeed a wolf? Hmph."
The wolf scowls at Roope, forcing him to take another step back. "He is a mad nomad, of no business to us. We leave him be and he leaves us to be. Unless you had provoked him, you would be in no harm. Stay clear from the serpent's path and you will escape without a bite."
Acknowledging the warriors, and a look from the guards, the wolf nods. Kneeling before President Wol'jin, he calms his voice. "For the pride of the pack, I will bring him to justice that we may live in peace. If you require my services President Wol'jin..."
