OOC: Well when it comes to the Crocs, their king, Crogall, was assassinated by the Spiders for unknown reasons (the Spider Queen who'd ordered that was destroyed by one of her own soon after), and since he had no offsprings, his cousin Crogar (Shamrock's character) became king. The Crocs, like the Eagles, became war allies with the Crawler Empire during the Chima Alliance—Crawler Empire War, and they fought the Bears with the Crawlers, but mostly fought the Forgotten.
A while after the Crawler Empire was defeated and frozen by the Vulture and Icebear tribes (ending the previous war in the process) the Sabertooth Tigers attacked and froze most of the Croc Swamp and the Crocs, including King Crogar. The Fire Tribes intervened though, saving some of the Crocs and unfreezing the swamp, while the remaining crocs escaped into the tunnels of the Republic of the Claw (a Scorpion faction that had made a giant tunnel network spanning beneath most of the western edge of Chima; now it's the new governing body of the Scorpion Tribe).
Shamrock made it clear that Crogar's wife, Queen Carina, had escaped into the tunnels, but he went inactive after that. After politically fighting over the now empty territory of the Croc Swamp, the Wolves and Lions claimed the north and south of the swamp, respectively.
With the Sabertoothes, there's a lot of lore to cover, more so than the Crocs, but basically, they have ice powers like in the show, they're currently attacking the Minor Tribes HQ, they're no longer officially allied with the other Ice Hunter tribes, and their last base in the south, the frozen Black Fang Mountain, is being attacked by Unichi (Wolves, Scorpions, and Gorillas' alliance) and the Bears. The Sabertooth King Finglor's fate has been unknown since his battle in the Iron Mountains with the Leopards (about six months ago in real life time). OOC: Alright, so what if, in a battle in an undisclosed location, the rulers of the Crocs and Sabers were cryogenically frozen, with no way to unfreeze them without them perishing in the process. This paves the way for two new rulers to take control. Also: 1. Do different factions control the entire Croc territory? If so, where are is the Croc tribe now? 2. The Sabers are present at Minor Tribes HQ, Black Fang Mountain, and Iron Mountains? 3. Who are the Croc's and Sabers' preexisting allies and affiliations? 4. You guys have been busy while I was gone
OOC: The Crocs have already pretty much got that down, so that works.
1. Yeah, the Wolves own the northern Croc Swamp, and the Lions own the south. The Crocs are frozen by the Sabertoothes, but I don't think their location was specified (basically, if the Croc Tribe didn't get a new leader, I was gonna say that they're in Saber Mountain, but if they did get a new leader, I'd say that they're in Black Fang Mountain, which is currently under siege).
2. They lost their hold on the Iron Mountains. The Sabertoothes are in the Arctic North, Minor Tribes HQ, and Black Fang Mountain. Their HQ, Saber Mountain, is in the Arctic.
3. The Crocs were allied with the Crawler Empire during the Chima Alliance—Crawler Empire War, letting their territory be shared and fighting alongside the Crawlers against the Chima Alliance. When the Ice Hunters defeated the Crawler Empire and the Bats flew to Bat Island to protect the island against the Icebear Fleet, the Crocs' and Eagles' Alliance with the Scorpions carried over to the Republic of the Claw, a faction made up of all the scorpions who'd lived in Croc and Eagles territory, now living in tunnels beneath them. The Eagles never did anything against the Ice Hunters, and the scorpions tried to save the Crocs when the Swamp was frozen by the Sabertoothes, but they didn't get fire chi in time. Afterward, the Republic (now the Scorpion Tribe) allied with the Wolves and Gorillas, so they're not officially allied with the Eagles and Crocs anymore.
The Sabertoothes were allied with fellow Ice Hunters the Icebears, Mammoths, and Vultures, but the four ice tribes have since split up.
