Name: "Sniper" Species: Fox Weapons: Sniper Rifle, Machete, and a Pistol. All fire or are metal. Backstory: Convinced that the Chi is an evil drug, the "Sniper" has made it his purpose to remove it from society...Forever.
Name: Krigsmand Species: Man o' War Age: varies throughout his body (bodies?) Affiliation: Himself/Ocean Gender: Male Appearance: Wears an algae covered trench coat, along with a pair of equally algae covered boots. In fact, all his clothes and armor are algae covered and probably belong to sailors who were unlucky enough to sink in the West Sea. His skin is mostly a light blue, although it may darken to a dark blue or light purple in areas. His skin also has a translucent layer above the opaque layer, his main eyes are green translucent blotches on his face, and he has no real nose nor mouth. His fingers are longer than the average chima resident, and are not jointed in any particular places. Weapons & Gear: A rusty cutlass and a similarly rusty flintlock pistol, along with tentacles he can extend from his wrists, which reach up to 30 feet and are covered in highly venomous barbs. (venom acts like normal Man o' War venom, but better because chi) Abilities: Due to the structure of Man o' War along with the influence of Chi, Krigsmand can separate his body parts for a decent period of time, and he has no real vital organs. However, if a body part were to be separated for too long, it would die. Separated parts also can't communicate with the main body, but can still act independently and sense the surroundings. Backstory: Krigsmand was just a plain Man o' War in the ocean, minding his own business, when a boat fueled by Chi sank nearby. The Chi altered him into his new humanoid shape, giving him intelligence along with some other minor modifications like light sensitive zooids (essentially eyes) around his body. Upon learning of society on dry land he donned clothes so to not lose too much moisture, and set out to explore.
Needs to be a real species, otherwise this doesn't count, and all your moves will be ignored.
A Man o War is a real species...
But I'm taking this means that I must use canon species? sigh
What's the problem with it anyways? It appears you have a bunch of fanon tech already, I don't see the harm a species could do
Oh, the characters are minifigures? I didn't realize that before. Also probably means he won't have a real trench coat...
Oh... I was basing it off of how the Crawler tribes were transformed by exposure to Chi in canon, along with the fact there are sometimes only one of a species, I figured that this made sense. I also wanted something new and unique, and having a fanon ocean in the RP gave me that opportunity
And not going to lie this RP is what I would prefer, as it seems to have much more activity and more people than the Fanon RP seems to have...
That is true. I don't know...we're probably gonna introduce new tribes from The West Sea as antagonists after the Great Illumination anyway, so I'll confer with the guys on this. FelipeDutra , egorsmirnov , Shamrock , batonmaster500 , Judah
OOC: I think that sounds like it might be a good idea for after the ice hunters.

We have a special 2nd rp for FANON species, developed for this reason, also yes, because Fanon tech is needed as their are massive gaps in the armys otherwise.

You should instead of assuming put it through the FAC, like I did with some of my stuff. Yeah, also, any fanon tech that's different from canon/what we've got must be approved.
You can have something new and unique, you just need to think hard. Like, I made the spiders/mammoths unique
I didn't realize that the RP was strict about the canon species. And is the last part referring to the flintlock pistol?...

But that RP is one topic and not nearly close to the 12,000 post behemoth that this is...
Welp, I guess I can wait until the West Sea antagonists come, if they do, and use him then. Of course I wouldn't mind if you changed your mind, but that seems unlikely for now.

Back to the drawing board for now.
Trust me we wil have a west sea antagonist fanon, I always wanted to have a Mantis Tribe.

Sorry, I don't have time to read through - what's the situation here?

A user wants to use a species known as a: Man o war, instead of a canon species

This character's species not being canon but would fit with the current idea of a West Sea Antagonist Tribe(s) in the future.
Appearance: Dark blue feathers, some of which are tipped light blue. Dark blue skin, amber eyes.
Skills: Extremely adept at most forms of combat, having been trained from the very young age of 4. While good with most weapons, he prefers the halberd, longsword, sniper rifle, and dual automatic pistols. He does not use weaponized Chi, and instead crafts his own ammunition from scratch.
Personality: Jai's mannerisms are relatively mysterious and edgy. While he lives in the Spire and fights alongside his fellow Eagles as a powerful soldier, he remains cold and distant to his kin. His interest lies not in that of books, but rather in warfare and the future and ultimate survival of Chima. Having been witness himself to much greater things, he despises Chi and its constant use, as it has trapped the world in a vise status quo. Furthermore, his strange, haunting memories of a previous life gnaw at him, enticing him towards the goal of reforming Chima into a world of technological evolution and power.
Bio: Jai is an anomaly, and he knows it. He's lived another life, one in which his parents were stolen from him at a young age by an otherworldly entity, who brutally raised Jai to become the perfect versatile warrior. After 20 years of vigorous, brutal training, the entity just vanished, but left Jai with a special suit of armor that gave him incredible powers. Aware of the entity's great power, as well as the technological and military deficiency of Chima, Jai returned to the Spire. Things were... much, much different. It was as if he had been gone for a thousand years. Finding no respite among his own kind, he changed his name and joined the military, quickly rising through the ranks. He harbored a resentment for Chi and the absolute dependency that the majority of the population have on it, and swore to make it obsolete and lead Chima to real progress and power.
Within a year he rose to become the leader of the Eagles, and then shortly after, a warlord who led a great army of followers from all across the different tribes to a year-long war against Chi and all those who defended it. Cavora was torn from the sky and dropped upon the Lions' civilization.
And that's the last thing he remembers.
He has woken in his a bed in a small home in the Spire, not a day older than when he fought to destroy Chi. His last memory is the sight of Cavora falling... and there was this great flash. Like fire. Now his head constantly aches, and the world around him is blatantly not as he last saw it. His powerful armor is gone, his status is gone, and his army is gone. It was as if the universe itself thwarted his efforts and left him here. He suspects it to be the entity's doing, and he will not let that stop him. Only one thing left to do, now: start from scratch.
What Jai cannot know is that it was the Phoenixes who stopped his rampage, using existential magic of the Great Illumination. Even stranger, Jai himself wasn't placed back into the world for another thousand years, essentially making him a living relic of a forgotten time. Truly bizarre.
To scream in terror, or rejoice because I'll actually know what Jai is like, since I only saw like one of his posts

Name: Enala
Species: Eagle
Age: 23
Appearance: Quite beautiful. Pure white feathers, flawless light blue skin, and gleaming golden eyes. Her wings are also quite a bit bigger than other Eagle girls. Clothing-wise, she largely prefers unhindered flexibility, and therefore wears only the bare minimum essentials, and nothing more.
Personality: "Strange" doesn't even begin to describe Enala. Her actions in general are spontaneous and sometimes inconsistent. For the most part, she is intelligent, cheerful, and flirty, with a blatant disregard for the dignity of others and a bizarre obsession for personal satisfaction. She always seems to aim to please others, probably in hopes of feeding that obsession. Being an Outlander, she is in-tune with the world around her, and appears to have a sort of passive contempt for the Eagle Tribe. The exact reason for her banishment is unknown, but she will claim that--whatever it was--she lost her mind in the process. This implies instability, and in turn, implies that she has a dark side. Whether this hidden side is more eerie than her usual self is debatable.
Skills/weapons: She carries nothing but dual long whips for offensive, defensive, and personal reasons. They can be laced with weaponized Chi for extra oomph. Enala is extremely flexible, quite skilled at using her whips, as well as being exceptionally adept at hand-to-hand combat. She has perfect knowledge of the body of most if not all Chiman races, and therefore knows the locations of every pressure point. As a result, she uses a rather excessive amount of grace and finesse in her fighting style, allowing her to flow perfectly around her opponents and their attacks and take them down with unpredictable, precise strikes and maneuvers, leaving them helpless. Jai is well-learned and amazing at hand-to-hand, but without his armor, his aggressive style doesn't stand a chance against her gentle but dangerous techniques.
Bio: Enala was once a skilled medic in the Eagle military, and was as learned as one can be in the anatomy of each of the Chiman races. Then--and nobody knows why--he went off the deep end, committing something so unspeakable that she wound up banished to "Outlands within the Outlands", the farthest reaches of that lonely place. That is where her short, mysterious story ends.

Forgot to include Jai's usual wear: When casual, he just wears traditional Eagle garb. When in combat, he wears a black helmet with a golden visor and black armor made of a powerful metal covering the majority of his body. He wears a segmented/jointed cuirass that allows for maximum protection and maneuverability, shoulder pauldrons to cover his upper arms, gauntlets up to his elbows with razor-sharp talons, and thigh, shin, and foot armor, the latter of which encases his natural claws in much sharper metal talons.
Also forgot to mention that in his ancient life, Jai had a prosthetic wing, having lost one to the entity's unforgiving training routines. Now, however, he has both his organic wings. As if he wasn't shocked enough.

I did think hard...
It's not a matter of strict, it's a matter of sense. Besides, from what I can see, nothing shows that a 'Man o war' is based off of an animal by the title alone.
