OOC: I knew they didn't need to eat or sleep, but I didn't know that they didn't need to breathe. I thought I'd just give it a go. Oh, by the way, I think Ornirax just saved your life by stopping the explosions. I don't Vindurax would have liked being in the center of Kratark's mass destruction.
OOC: Pure energy doesn't need oxygen. Yes, I suppose hw owes Ornirax a thank you.
OOC: Ah, of course. How silly of me. Does that mean I have one less enemy?
The smoke passes straight through the Ash Bears. After this happens, the bears fade like mist in the sun.
"I know. But it is quite fun to watch you use brute force as your only method of problem solving. 'It won't move. Guess I'd better blow it to Karhzani.'"
When the magnetic blast hits the door, Kratark finds that the door is not magnetic. He is rewarded with a bolt of lightning from a Rahkshi hiding somewhere.
"You've threatened me like that once before, and I survived. I'm waiting for the day when you actually see my face again and realize that perhaps I'm not a weakling. After all, my door has kept you out thus far. You don't even have a fortress, do you? In fact, you don't have a region either. All you have is your arrogance, your stupid Rahi, and your delusional belief that you're special because you're the 'prized possession' of a Great Being. That's not much, especially since I could smash your Rahi with a wave of my hand or destroy your arrogance by making you fail. Once you fail, you will realize that really are nothing more than an imposter, not some perfect angel of destruction created by a being who copied the design of another. And after that, I can do it again and again you lose your bravado, and you lose your confidence. It's funny that you have never known fear. You boast about your power over fear all the time, yet you've never felt it yourself. I think it's high time you did."
The courtyard of the fortress vanishes in Kratark's eyes. Instead he sees emptiness. Nothing but blackness is visible in every direction. Suddenly, a figure appears. Sudden terror strikes Kratark as the being draws closer. Eventually, he is identifiable. It is Emarcee. Kratark is forced to his knees by an unknown force as he prepares to meet his maker. The only emotion he can feel is fear, and the only feeling he senses is pain. Both start softly but grow quickly as the Great Being draws near. He only speaks once, but the words devastate the terrified Makuta.
"You have failed me. I cannot tolerate such things in my perfect creation. Now you are nothing to me, Kratark. Nothing."
Emarcee vanishes before Kratark can say a word. Without any notice he begins to fall into the endless shadows that surround his limp body. He hears the scream of one in terror - could it be his? This noise echoes in Kratark's ears as the blackness is replaced with the wastelands of Zakaz once more.
Kratark comes out of the vision chuckling... chuckling? Indeed, the effect this all had on him seems to have been one Ornirax did not desire.
"Deceit, barriers, these are the tools of cowards. You are clever, Ornirax, barring my way with doors and traps -- presenting me a vision of the one thing I would fear most. But you have made a fatal error, that being:"
Kratark focuses himself for a moment.
"I don't care."
Kratark decides that if he cannot destroy the door, he would destroy everything else. Fragmentation blasts flew everywhere, destroying the room and the structure in its entirety.
"I will fragment the foundation that you cling to, and there will be nothing left for you to hold on to. Nothing more than your life, and you will lose that too."
"There's something else you should know: I have at least 1 Toa in here with me. He is willing to perform a Nova Blast and wipe this blasted island off the map, taking you and Vindurax with it.
"Also, I have direct communication with the Skakdi leader of this island. I don't think that he'd appreciate finding out that there's a Makuta blowing up part of his island."
Just to emphasize his point, Ornirax sends a telepathic message to Vazrudakaan.
{Mental Message for Vazrudakaan} Oh illustrious leader, I have distressing news to report. There are two rogue Makuta disturbing the peace of your domain. I am requesting the assistance of your Skakdi in this crisis.

{Reply }"What?! We're not equipped to fight Makuta! Your continued presence here has made that abundantly clear! And while I must admit that the offer for a chance at battle is tempting, I simply MUST refuse on the basis that we simply cannot afford more entanglements with the Makuta! For all I know, YOU could be the rogue, and those two are here to punish you! Good day!" Of course, Vazrudakann would only be able to send this message by thinking it in his head and hoping that Ornirax is listening for his thoughts.
"You're bluffing, Ornirax. No Toa is THAT loyal to the Brotherhood."
Knowing this, Kratark heightens his senses, he attempts to locate Ornirax, and once he does that, attempts to find a patch of shadows in the room that he can use. Assuming he finds one, he transfers his vision to that area, and Attempts to spy on Ornirax and the Toa.
"...Go on, Ornirax -- tell the Toa to nova blast. I. Don't. Care."
{Mental Message to Vindurax} "Get close to me if you want to live -- I have eyes on the Toa, and will only have a split second to teleport if what Ornirax says is true, and it is willing to perform a nova blast. I believe if I leave enough of my antidermis behind, Ornirax will believe I am still here, and he won't call off the Toa. If this fort is destroyed -- it will be that much easier to find Ornirax, and punish him. That, or Orniraxx will be dumb enough to still be in the blast radius -- it matters not to me."

"Interesting. Most interesting. The one who is blowing up a room - a room he is standing in - calls the one who carefully thinks about his plan a coward. He also says he doesn't care about the one thing he fears. You're certainly the most confusing person to ever hunt me."
As soon as Kratark creates an explosion it is snuffed out. He notices that he can hear no noises whatsoever. He also begins to choke as he tries to inhale oxygen that is not there.
Kratark laughs at Ornirax's stupidity, noting that he has nothing to gain and in fact, is going to lose quite a few more Rahi in this stunt. Seeing as how fragmentation does not require oxygen to work -- the explosions do occur, and they continue to wreak havoc in the room.

{Reply}"You're the first Skakdi I've ever met who hasn't jumped at the chance to rip someone apart. Good day."
If Ornirax had eyebrows, he would be raising one right now. "Am I? These are my Toa Hagah, not yours. And if I remember correctly, your Toa had no qualms about attacking a member of the Brotherhood. Who's to say that mine doesn't?"
Kratark finds nothing at first. There are shadows in many rooms, but not all of them. From what Kratark can see, some of the rooms appear to literally be on fire, with flames raging throughout the chamber.
Eventually, he gets lucky as one of the flames dies down and a shadow appears. He sees a room blazing with fire. Any living being, perhaps even a Makuta, would instantly die if he set foot in this room. But there is one being standing here. Kratark sees a red Toa standing in the room, manipulating the flames as necessary for maximum heat. Ornirax is most definitely not in this room.
As Kratark looks into this room, he is suddenly struck in the face by a very large object moving at a very large speed. At the same time, the Toa refuels the flame that had died down, drowning out the shadow.
His vision clears as he sees through his own eyes, even as they are struck again and again by a weapon. His Kanohi is jarred by this attack and loosens slightly. What he sees astounds him. Ornirax stands in front of him, his eyes blazing and one of his swords in his hands. He is not actually standing, but hovering a few inches off the ground. Once Kratark sees him, Ornirax punches him in the face with an unnaturally heavy fist. Ornirax had altered the density of it for a split second to increase its weight dramatically.
"It would appear that I am not as much of a coward as you'd like to think, Kratark. I made a mistake when I didn't resist my arrest. I do not intend to repeat that error."
"Interesting. Most interesting. The one who is blowing up a room - a room he is standing in - calls the one who carefully thinks about his plan a coward. He also says he doesn't care about the one thing he fears. You're certainly the most confusing person to ever hunt me."

"I have my safety, my life, and your death to gain, you idiot. What do you mean by 'he has nothing to gain?' Also, I don't care about the Rahi."
Everything falls apart except the door. It stands there as strong as it was before. If Kratark had actually thought about what he was doing, he would have noticed that the door is not actually a door, but a wall. It doesn't open. There is a small door with no real security systems a few dozen feet to the left of the main 'door'. However, the door is gone, along with the walls. Kratark also succeeded in destroying the floor that leads up to the door and possibly blowing Vindurax's armor apart.
"Your brute force actually worked. Congratulations."

OOC: An explosion is the sudden release of a shockwave. Such shockwaves are usually caused by the spontaneous combustion of explosive devices. Other times, explosions do not have fire in them at all. An explosion can take place even in outer space. There probably won't be fire, but there will be a shockwave.

Because of the way Kratark's neck is built, it rotates comically with every strike. Kratark does not, however, lose sight of Ornirax, and his final punch is met by the palm of Kratark's hand, who's density has been increased to match that of Ornirax's. This, coupled with Kratark's own immense natural strength, effectively nullifies the punch. And with that, Kratark drives his bladefist toward Ornirax, charging it with disintegration.
He is also prepared to follow up with further, far more devastating attacks.

Ornirax steps to the side (using Dodge) and allows Kratark to fly past him. He swings his sword, charged with molecular disruption, at Kratark's back. After this attack, he jumps several yards into the air and hovers there out of Kratark's reach.
"Kratark. If I intended to hinder you, do you really think you would have found me so easily?''
"It seems that you're both trying to smash me now. That's.... slightly unnerving. Very well, carry on. Have fun getting through the door. I'm just glad that none of you have ever been here before. I can try my new toys on unprepared victims.
"Also, Kratark: I don't appreciate how you treated EXT-01. He's certainly an annoying chatterbox who gets in my way, but he was certainly a help in some areas. For one thing, he never complained when I told him to take a message to a Skakdi chief saying that he is a bloated fool who doesn't know the first thing about fighting.
"At any rate, we need to get on with this. Come on. Just touch the door again." Ornirax chuckles, then his voice fades into nothing. Suddenly, there are loud roars to the right and left of the Makuta. As they turn to see what this noise is, they see several Ash Bears approaching with their teeth bared.
OOC: We need to resurrect EXT-01, he's my favorite character now

Crystalia nods approvingly of Ornirax's method. She summons her spear, which makes the area colder, enough to cause frost to form. Her seven eyes gleam wickedly, as her mind begins to calculate multiple things. Her mind races, taking into account multiple things. It continues to race, her vastly potent mental prowess calculating, processing and assimilating information. Her telepathic reach extends far, gently caressing the minds of many, quietly taking the information. She continues to do this, her eyes glowing. Her tendrils of psychic energy slowly return to her, and she lets out a snarl at both combatants. She grasps her spear's shaft's handle, the grip fitting smoothly into the handle, and she snarls again, her eyes glowing blood red in her anger. "Kratark! Ornirax! Vindurax! All of you! Cease this tomfoolery! Kratark, you arrogant, walking, talking, piece of scrapmetal. NOBODY SAID YOU COULD DESTROY ORNIRAX!" She snarls out, her eyes pure red. "We are to have a TRIAL. Then, in the absence of Inharax, we hold a VOTE. You little treacherous worm! And you, Ornirax, should know better! Arrogant maggots!" The Ice Witch snarls out.
She raises her spear, slamming it back down to the ground. The effect is instantaneous. A blizzard forms, as the ground is covered by ice, which rapidly extends across the area. "You are defying the laws of the Brotherhood, Kratark. As are you, Ornirax. Cease now."
The ground trembles, before a bulky figure appears. "Thank you, Crystalia. You may step down, now." The figure says, smiling cooly. "Now, boys, Crystalia, shall we return to Destral?"

The sword seems to pass through a cloud of pure smoke as it fails to hit an intangible Kratark, who quickly recovers after his first attempted strike and whirls around to deliver a wombo-combo of slow and confusion into Ornirax. He follows this up with a strong fear attack, because why the heck not.
