Let him name his characters the way he wants to. No one ever judged what you name yours. If he wants to use human names let him.
This is not a Hero Factory RP, this is Bonkle and Bonkles have Bonkle names!
It doesn't always have to sound "bonkle" like Omega-Tahu has every right to name his characters whatever he wants. Your opinions on how he names HIS characters HIS own way. Is unecessary. You name yours the way you want. He'll name his his way. There is no rule in here that says names have to be "bonkle" like

Name: Agramon Alias: Fright Knight Species: Tobdukian (Member of Tobduk's Species if you can't tell) Element: None Powers: Fear Kanohi: Olmak, Mask of Charisma Weapons/Tools: Agramon uses a colossal broadsword, which holds a special poison (acquired from Makuta Toxica), which will inflict fear equivalent to a level Six Turahk with a scratch. He also has this poison on his spikes. He also holds a protosteel shield, which can project an energy aura around it, similar to that of a Hau, which can encase his entire body. Appearance: Agramon has blood red, scarlet armor, a long, tattered, reddish black cape and spikes. Lots of spikes. Everywhere. His eyes are, interestingly, pure blue. Agramon is terrifying to look at, most Matoran cower when they see him. Agramon is also incredibly bulky, and strong to match. Personality: Agramon thrives off of inflicting terror in his subjects, believing Matoran to be inferior to any other race. That being said, Agramon has little sense of morality, willing to inflict grievous trauma to a Matoran that even looks at him in the wrong way. Agramon himself is very arrogant, cocky, being the literal definition of 'narcissist'. However, it is not entirely undeserved, for he is the best swordsman of Karzahni, Metru Nui and Stelt. Agramon fears nobody. Period. Backstory: T.B.A.
Why does it matter that much anyways? It's not like it's some mind boggling power or anything insanely fanon. It's just a name...
Because realism, I suppose. When the RP is going down in flames, you have to at least try to make it better, and you can do that with the little things, working your way up.

Name: Alagori Species: Toa of Ice. Kanohi: Mask of Intangiblity (Gelu helmet shaped). Weapons: Icicle slicers. History: Nuval is a being (glatorian) from another world (Spherus Magna) who took on the form of a local (toa). Back on his home world, he was a champion in a massive event called the Core War. He had but one rival, a warrior of the sand tribe. Alagori sought the Great Beings, who gave him access to the GSR while it was being built, but he didn't stay for long. Soon, he would jump back and forth from his home world to the new universe, battling the persistent sand warrior wherever he went. Meanwhile, the Great Beings had taken a reasonable liking to Alagori, who had been effecting the first matoran in a positive manner. Before the GSR took off, he came to the Great Beings and asked that he might stay, so they uploaded his mind into the body of a Toa. Since the upload, he has remained tight lipped about the other world, a sign that he accepts his new Toa identity. Unknown to him, the sand warrior crept aboard before Alagori completely severed his ties to Spherus Magna.
You go back to your little corner. There shouldn't be one as it wouldn't give freedom to people to name their characters whatever they want.
I'm sure others would agree as well. I don't see both of you bashing people who call their characters "Silver" or for a real Example. VF's "Frost". What difference does it make if it is a han name or a human word. There's practically no difference. It wouldn't be fair or even nice for that matter to not name your character whatever you want. As Omega-Tahu stated. Naming his characters that way is easier for him to remember. We're all different here. We cannot all be the same. The world would be boring if we were all the same. This is just Omega-Tahu's way of doing things. Let him be.
Why don't we make the OCs name "Jakeaquadilly", but people call him Jake for short?

"Silver" and "Frost" however are not names given to humans. The whole point of RP is to immerse yourself in a fictional world. Using a human name, a very COMMON human name for that matter, breaks that immersion.

I’d also like to point out that Frost isn’t the characters actual name and is an alias he was given because I was sick of saying Future Vortaxx And it fit him based on his white color scheme and ice based powers. And Silver’s just a robot who got his name because of his color. But both aren’t relevant to this RP.

But it’s just a name... It doesn’t affect anything in the RP, besides how many letters you have to type. Plus he’s a Great Being and not a native MU inhabitant, so having a strange name could make a tiny bit of sense.
Anyways, just going to ask, is there any problem with my character besides opinions on its name?

The problem is that name is strange even to Great Beings -- it doesn't belong in this universe, nay, this multiverse, at all.
Assuming he doesn't go outside his challenge topic, no.
