I'm going to have to say no to mass shifting as there is nothing in the canon capable of using powers to gain more mass than it started with.
Where did the Xians get the tech for energy absorption?
What are Griffin Gauntlets?
*cough* Makuta *cough*
I feel like that's simple via kanoka technology
Something very OP that Miserix made a long time ago, Gaaki for some reason gave Xia ten vials of EP sent by Miserix in exchange for a cluster of the gauntlets, and what-not
Makuta's shapeshifting power does not allow them to alter their mass; the best they can do is shift excess mass into a pocket dimension. However, I'm not saying that it isn't possible to grow or shrink, their mass would just become spread out as a result.
Name: Unknown (not really, it's just he thinks his name must be fake) Alias: Bad Guy (sometimes known as The Bad Guy) Alignment: Dark Hunters (temporarily) Species: Matoran Element: Shadow? (if not acceptable, I suppose he can be fire) Kanohi: None Weapons/tools: Claw hands, claw feet Appearance: He is short with red and orange/yellow armour. His claw weapons are fused to his hands. Face is horribly scarred - makes it look kinda like a Skakdi face. Personality: This Guy is Bad. I mean, you have some guys that are bad but just not as Bad as Bad Guy. Also, not all bads are as Guy as him. All he wants his to see the world as he knows it burn in whatever way possible; stealing priceless treasures; torching the homes of helpless Matoran; taking the last cookie in the cafeteria. Big or small, he'll do it - all in the name of Bad. Backstory: Waking up on Karzahni was hard for Bad Guy. You're zooming through the endless space of your own mind and then, BANG! you're stuck on an island with no humour, no personality, knowing nothing but your strange name and nothing to do but twiddle your claw-fused thumbs waiting for something to happen. It didn't help that you're terribly scarred with a face that would make any Makuta turn tail and run. After about two minutes being awake, he snapped and decided to light fire to the sorry huts the Matoran there called homes. After that, he went from island to island doing things that earned him the name Bad Guy. Unfortunately, with a name like that, you're bound to make enemies; specifically the goody-two shoes known as Good Guy. The two clashed on several occasions always with GG being victorious. That all changed when Bad Guy got the upper hand over GG. Bad Guy couldn't (somehow) bring himself to end Good Guy so instead he struck a deal with the Dark Hunters. Turns out The Master Race had had his eye on the Good Guy and really wanted to 'collect' him, so Bad Guy gave GG to the Dark Hunters on the one condition: that Bad Guy be let into to their organisation. One's worst enemy locked away in stasis forever, and the perfect opportunity to be Bad. Most are unsure of how he got his Light drained - some say from an unsavoury character with an Avsa; others that he was experimented on by Makuta - he doesn't care though, after all, there is Bad to do.
The thing is, though, Matoran go into a coma if they aren't wearing a Kanohi.
I forgot to explain that...Um...I didn't really think of that. This will probably have to go through the FAC but...Due to the way Bad Guy's light was drained, he now takes energy from the Bad of the Universe so he does not need a mask and has never had any memory of doing so. Similarly, the Good Guy takes energy from the Good.

Name: Zakone (Zz-ah-cone) Alias: Lord Zakone, Duke of the Northern Fields Species: Turaga Element: Lightning/Electricity Powers: Zakone has the power to manipulate Akelyte, and produce it in small quantities, mental shielding Kanohi: Statica, Noble Mask of Stasis Fields, and a Mask of Elemental Energy. Weapons/Tools: Zakone wields a small rod, which functions like a power lance, amplifying his elemental power. This rod is similar to a staff, with three blades attached to the shaft, circling around a large orb. Appearance: Despite his elderly age and appearance, Zakone is actually very fit. He has electric blue and stark white armor, with pulsing, vibrant eyes, that shift color always. Personality: Vibrant. Electric. Zakone has an energetic, upbeat vibe, and is very easily excited. While not exactly the most typical behavior for a Turaga, Zakone is very wise, and gives out wisdom in very peculiar ways.
Name: Xije (See-Gee) Alias: Lady Xije, Duchess of the Southern Wetlands Species: Turaga Element: Water Powers: Xije has the power to manipulate Akelyte, and produce it in relatively small quantities, mental shielding Kanohi: The Nostos, Noble Mask of Serenity, the Nostos can cause feelings of peace and tranquility, making someone far more serene than before.. It can also inhibit higher functioning to a small extent, by pacifying people completely, if needed. This is useful for forcing people to calm down enough to listen to reason. She also has a Mask of Clairvoyance. Appearance: Seemingly proud, tall for a Turaga, and bulky, Xije uses her Akelyte as an armor suit, which hides and protects her true form, which is frail, bony and spindly, with numerous spider legs in place of two legs. She has dark blue armor, with shades of black and grayish blue elsewhere. Her spider leg tips are golden, but that isn't seen, usually. She has the same color changing, pulsing eyes as Zakone, but unlike his vibrant eyes, hers are dull. Personality: Xije is tranquil, soft spoken and serene. Xije is calm, quiet and seldom speaks. She is infinitely wise, with seemingly prophetic words. She is very kind and humble, and it is very hard to not like her.
Backstory for both of them: Zakone was created by Jellica a long time ago, and sent away for being a 'failure'. Xije and Zakone reportedly came from an unknown island, traveling to the Southern Continent to find work and a better life. They found themselves hired by Thymos, the Dirae Princess, to serve her and her court. From countless years of hard work, they were rewarded with two Toa Stones, along with their chief rivals, Kiesyre, a Su-Matoran, and Tejie, a Kra-Matoran, and a few other members of Thymos' servants, to arise and become part of her court. Xije and Zakone became the Duke and Duchess of the Northern Cove and Southern Wetlands, while Kiesyre and Tejie became the Duke and Duchess of the Eastern Peaks and the Western Meadows, to rule over the four cardinal directions. Xije and Zakone became closer than they were before, due to the often trade between the Northern Cove and Southern Wetlands, and thus their frequent encounters.
While Zakone dealt with storms and nature, Xije had to deal with the pending invasion of the Makuta in her swamps and marshes. Anakritis had gone with another Makuta, Thernolenos, to retrieve a rare artifact in an ancient temple, located at the heart of the Karzahni Swamp. Xije and Zakone also had to deal with a stubborn Toxica, demanding rare materials from their lands. They continued their jobs for the next century or two, before finally fulfilling their destinies, to stop a dark and dreaded evil from ever waking up, they had to sacrifice their toa power, along with Kiesyre and Tejie, to put Him to sleep for, what they hoped, was all eternity. Together, the two Turaga journeyed to Metru Nui, becoming the island's new leaders, after putting new leaders to rule the Northern Cove and Southern Wetlands in their place. While Kiesyre and Tejie drifted apart, traveling to Stelt and Odina respectively (still occasionally meeting up), the journeys made Xije and Zakone even closer. The duo have come into conflict with Makuta various times, particularly Anakritis.

Makuta can absorb mass.
Ah, I was going by Biosector01's powers page, which does not mention that.

Yeah, bad and good aren't any more energy fields than ice cream and nachos.

Biosector does, however, note that Makuta have density control, the only difference between this and Shellshredder's massshifting (at least, if I recall) is that Makuta have to maintain focus while doing it while Shellshredder's changes are permanent until altered again.

While it is true that Makuta can create Matoran, I can find no evidence that they could create Matoran that were destined to be Toa. In fact, if they could, it stands to reason that not only some, if not all of them would have created their own Toa Hagah as Shadow Toa to ensure their loyalty even after they turned against Mata Nui (or at least replace the Toa Hagah they lost), but Teridax wouldn't have bothered kidnapping all those alternate Takanuvas to corrupt since he could raise his own army of Shadow Toa with a lot less hassle.
Aren't they both just wise bundles of happy-smiles?
I don't know where we stand on powers over Akelyte as if it were an element. I don't think we agreed it was okay. The best result we could give it was that it was a viral form of protodermis, which would mean that Toa of certain elements would be able to manipulate their specialty form of Akelyte. Toa of water can manipulate viral protodermis, toa of ice can manipulate frozen viral protodermis, toa of stone can manipulate solid and crystallized viral protodermis, and toa of Iron can manipulate purified metallic viral- wait, you cannot purify viral protodermis without the virus being taken out.
Power lance technology is a dangerous path to tread on. In my opinion, it should be limited, although I hold NO power here, so only if other people agree should we have a vote.

You guys shouldn't be agreeing to these made-up substances to begin with.
Also, should a single user really be making this many profiles when FAC is already flooded with requests to begin with? Whether he means to or not YJF is pretty much launching a DDOS on the FAC.
Your game world is already populated with many characters -- I would encourage you to use them rather than to keep throwing darts on the dartboard, given that many have already stuck.
