Well, you're doing more than I am. I feel like there is nothing to do in my state. Sure you can climb mountains and go kayaking, but it all gets rather boring after a while. These things involve effort and few friends want to do physical activities on their weekend. They're all so lazy, hence why I spent so much time with my honourary family. Our city is so bland. Everything is so family and tourist orientated.
Maybe you can try and find a spouse during the summer. When you do, (going back to the music topic) remember what The Platters say: When your heart's on fire, you must realise, smoke gets in your eyes.
I don't know if I'm personally ready to find a spouse, but I probably should. We'll see. Thing is, like I said, every girl I know is taken and I don't really go out and meet new people outside work:P.
Maybe you'll meet someone nice at work. Who knows right?

Anybody excited that American Idol is returning? I knew it would. I may watch it. I watched it as a kid, then took a break. I watched some of the last season. I might watch it considering there have been some good country singers on it like Carrie Underwood! Still good to have it back considering it has been around most of my life.

I never watched it, and currently have no intentions of watching it, so: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey, I guess I'll join. I don't listen to much music, but I play piano and trumpet. Currently working towards ARSM for piano (it's an exam between Grade 8 and Diploma), and around grade 7-8 standard for trumpet.
I also compose music as a hobby. I use MuseScore 2, which is a free score editor somewhat similar to Sibelius (but why would I pay ?). I use the music in my Youtube videos - at the moment my channel is pretty much exclusively LEGO but I might upload stand-alone music. Most of my compositions are in a modern style (instrumental rock/pop or electronic), but I have a few orchestral-style ones as well.

Hey, I see you've moved to LMBE as well ! Nice to meet old friends, although this is probably the wrong conversation to reply to ...
I know how you feel - as I mentioned on the Community Helpers forum I'm autistic as well. The problem is that I joined school (aged 11) acting very abnormally - it was obvious to pretty much anyone that I was different, and that's before I started throwing furniture . By now I've changed and can join new groups without anybody ever noticing my condition, but at school the memory lingers... Luckily most people accept "the new me" and are friendly with me, and as for the few who don't, my strong influence with teachers usually takes care of them *evil laugh*.
The trouble is that I'm still rather introverted (not necessarily a bad thing), so I can't just go up to someone (especially a girl ) and talk to them. 3 years ago, when the change was starting to happen, there was a girl in my science class that I sort of fancied because she actually spoke to me and we were able to share jokes (that's how low the bar was back then ). Unfortunately I didn't have the courage and right now she's with someone else. And fittingly enough today was the LAST official day of school (exams start next week) . So that happened.
If you ever read my story "The Diaries of Murphy" (on the "old" LMBs - I still have it stored on my computer if you're interested), that girl was the inspiration for one of the main characters .
Like I said, everybody at work is taken:P. Who knows though.
What I meant to say was, "while you're at work". Not necessarily a colleague.
Wait, so you're suggesting I try and date somebody who I am selling overpriced food:S:P? I am pretty sure I would get fired for trying to do that anyways:P!

You clearly aren't a big music fan if you NEVER watched American Idol:S:P.

I was terrible at school too, got kicked out of 2 of them:S:P. Ironically I was popular at public school, just was never into dating or anything at the time. I threw furniture too, still do sometimes:P. I guess I'm socially awkward somewhat. People see me as a friend, but I don't think anybody would want to date me. I would read it, but I work WAY too much to reach stories these days:(.

Nope. I'm just saying that you may meet a someone nice. Someone who you could become friends with and than maybe something else later on... Much later on. Don't all romantic relationships start off as a friendships and all friends begin as strangers or acquaintances? Hence the stupid phrase "stuck in the friend zone". I'm not saying you should harass your customers. That would be weird, but making friends with them is quite acceptable, especially if they're a regular at you workplace.
Donikkl is the bes es its German but just the videos!*falls off chair laughing* But Jim Gill is awesome to! And what about the Chardon Polka Band?or the grateful dead? Or the beetles? Or I can go on forever:p

Yeah, but it's also because it's just a show that I'd never think to watch, and I didn't think my parents would jump for either. =P All I know is that it's a bunch of celebrities singing stuff.

I think back in Reception (the lowest year in our system - ages 4 and 5) there was also someone in my class who had autism of some sort (can't remember exactly) and he was expelled. I'm glad I didn't go the same way. Back in primary school there was very little support for people with special needs (they did quite a lot for dyslexics but not much for others), but luckily my secondary school does a lot.
