Hmm... I don't really have any good advice. For obvious reasons. Just don't rush it I guess. And the cliche, be yourself.
I don't think autistic nerds are the hot commodity right now:P.
Nor are short introverted loners. Especially when they constantly yawn during conversations. I could be listening to the most interesting of conversations, but still yawn like a madman. Not sure why. I guess people think I'm being rude. Hence the loner part.
Did you know that Keith Urban was told no to "stop singing country, nobody will buy it" when he was 12 or so? He sure proved that fellow wrong. He only bought a coffee while there... Not sure if US McDonald's sells coffee like us. So you're like one of those crazy fans? You'd get wobbly kneecaps?
Sure did:D! Yeah, McDonald's in the US sells coffee, before I gave it up I always got it there. Yeah, you could say I'm a crazy fan:P:D!
Did you know he eats meats pies? I doubt you even know what a meat pie is. If you're a crazy fan, you should know that. Even though pretty much every Aussie and Kiwi eats them.
Hmm... Now I wanna move to the US and open an Australian restaurant. Seems like a wise investment.
Our McDonald's (Maccas) have a whole section of the store dedicated to coffee. It's called McCafe. <- Was invented in Australia, not sure if the whole barista made coffee has gone international yet.
Now I'm almost certain that I'm the oldest person on the planet who doesn't drink tea or coffee.

I yawn a lot too:P. I'm not even tired and I will randomly need to yawn:P. I'm a loner too considering I spend almost all my free time on the computer, usually here:P. At least we have our LMBE friends though:D!

What's bad about meat pies? I LOVE Shepard's pie which has meet in it. Maybe I should do that:P! We have a McCafe menu. It has a few different coffee drinks, but not a whole section. You just order it with the other food. Of course I usually go to the same McDonald's, so I wouldn't know if others have a whole section. Darn, I thought I was:P. I don't need tea or coffee though, I am naturally energetic!

We need yawn emoji. Same, it's not because I'm tired either, I just yawn... A lot. True, it seems like lots of LMBE fellows have trouble with IRL friends. I'm not even sure who's a friend and who's an acquaintance.

Nothing really. I have a feeling we make our pies differently. Our's are usually pastry based, even the Shepard's pie. We usually just have the potato on top. Pfft! You wouldn't know Australian "cuisine". Likely because we don't really have one.

Yeah, that's what I do too:P. Seems like it. Some of my friendships are weird, some people just like to screw with me. Nobody really knows about my personal life, besides maybe one friend who I actually talk to outside work and 2 friends I have known my whole life. I kind of just go with it though, I mean, everybody at the park is friendly to me and I love it:D:P.

Sounds good, I should try one sometime!

That's quite sad. I mostly just spend time with my brothers and non-biological family for that reason. My family unofficially adopts close family friends to be uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents. We do this to make up for our distant biological ones. So I usually hang out with them. My unofficial cousin just moved states, his new 'friends' often screw him over. People don't invite him out because he talks a lot. It's annoying how judgmental the world can be. He is so easy to get along with, but people treat him badly. I'm not sure if that's the same, but I can see how annoying it could be.
Same. I wouldn't necessarily call my colleagues friends. They seem nice and all, but the work environment is so much different to reality. For instance, I can be rather funny and outgoing at work, but in reality I just sit in my room asking all the 'why' and 'how' questions I would like to answer. This probably stems from my family living on land and moving very often. Never really had time to make those long term friends.
It's good that the park is your little social realm. I find that elderly and the really young are more willing to be friendly. Everyone else is either too busy or just rude.

They aren't mean really, they just make fun of me not knowing "cool" stuff. Overall everybody there is VERY nice to me though. I really doubt anybody hates me there. It's just they do inappropriate stuff outside of work that I don't want to get into. TBH though, I might have seen some of my coworkers outside work if I didn't work with them almost every day all summer. In other words, I see them PLENTY. I am already planning a couple things with them this summer though. For example, I am going to a concert with one next month and am planning a trip to Six Flags with a couple more at an unknown date! We also sometimes go out to Denny's after work, so might do that a few times this summer. Plus we have "team parties" where we do fun stuff with each other like ride rides, watch a movie, do a field day, play casino games, and go in the haunted houses! So in all honesty, my summer is packed and I don't really have time to "hang" outside work:P!

Well, you're doing more than I am. I feel like there is nothing to do in my state. Sure you can climb mountains and go kayaking, but it all gets rather boring after a while. These things involve effort and few friends want to do physical activities on their weekend. They're all so lazy, hence why I spent so much time with my honourary family. Our city is so bland. Everything is so family and tourist orientated.
Maybe you can try and find a spouse during the summer. When you do, (going back to the music topic) remember what The Platters say: When your heart's on fire, you must realise, smoke gets in your eyes.

I don't know if I'm personally ready to find a spouse, but I probably should. We'll see. Thing is, like I said, every girl I know is taken and I don't really go out and meet new people outside work:P.
