Okay, so, for all I know, this is going to change as soon as this post gets through moderation, but while I'm typing this, it's true. THE OFFICIAL MBS ARE STILL ONLINE!!!!! They said they'd take them completely off the Internet on March 6, but now it's the 9th and they're still there. I'm not complaining, I'm enjoying still being able to look at them, but I just feel like it'd be easier to get used to these new boards if the old ones were gone like we were told they'd be. If you feel the same way or different, please let me know, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Who knows? Maybe they did take them down, but I've been there so much my computer still knows what they're supposed to look like. Not likely. Anyway, if this is only happening to me, that's something else you can tell me. Maybe my computer is glitching out. Or maybe it's just sentimental.

Well it's not just you they're still up for me as well. i dont know why but... it's not just your computer...
Lol, I don't know why they're still up I'm guessing that the person who was supposed to delete them wanted to give the archivers a little more time, or just couldn't bear to take them offline

Well, that's comforting, at least.
KK was signed into the official LMB's yesterday... or the day before. Why would the mods bother to sign in? Maybe there are still posts pending or something. It's all rather odd.

What? I don't know what you're talking about. Z-whales...*puts hand on your shoulder*... I think you're hallucinating out of grief over the Message Boards...
Just kidding. I don't know why they're still up. I wish the Mods would unlock them so we could post there, if they're keeping them up anyway.

LEGO: Take those boards down.
Tech guy: *covers eyes* I don't want to. I can't.
LEGO: Your good cop side of you is making you too soft... *goes to hire new tech guy*
It's still up for me. I was about to make a topic similar to this one. It's nice but is still somewhat of a let-down. One prepares oneself to let go of something at an appropriate time only to find that it hasn't gone away and is still untouchable. It's good though because I can archive some more topics.

Every time I load the old MBs I'm just like "why aren't you dead yet" lol
Well, seeing as how Lithium (the software the LMBs use) charges by the month, I would say it's because they decided to give us until the end of the month to archive since at this point they already paid for the full month of March. That's just my guess of course and I personally will be surprised if they are still open by Tuesday.
Personally, though, a small part of me wants them to close down so I can stop inputting long lists of URLs for 7 different forums into Alcom's archiving program. In all honesty, it is really nice that we are able to archive more of our history.

My theory is that the mods from the old MBs who have come over to LMBE are telling Lego we've still got stuff to archive so Lego are keeping it open till we're done.
