Suddenly, Valithor awakens in an unfamiliar room. Five people stand over him. One is familar, Xavic of the Dragon Knights. The others- a serving woman, a well-dressed man, and two Xain soldiers- are not. He tries to move, but his wrists and ankles are tied down. Slowly, he remembers what happened. After he made his way to Colonel Faran's tent, his armor and weapons had been taken while a healer examined him. After a while, a broad-shouldered Xain came in, introduced himself as General Echain, and punched him in the face. He remembers the general muttering something about 'another one' and then nothing.
OOC: LegoBuilder : I wanted to move your plotline forward a little bit. Hope you don't mind.

OOC: No, that's fine.
IC: As he comes to his senses, he realizes that he is tied down. He does the sensible thing and shouts at the nearest living thing to set him free.

"Where am I? Let me go!"
The serving woman shrinks back at his outburst. The two soldiers begin to draw their weapons, but the well-dressed man tells them to stand down. "You are in the Tavern as a prisoner of the Xain Empire. If you would please tell me who you are, I can try to negotiate a prisoner exchange."

"I am one who has no love of your kind, just like the rest of this land."

"If you wish to live, tell me your name. I will send it to King Darthraxx of the Dragons and request a prisoner exchange. If he accepts, you and Xavic will be handed over in exchange for one of our generals. If he does not, I will send word to my superiors and they will most likely send you to be forcefully interrogated. If you do not tell me your name, the result will be the same. I just want to help you, but I need this one thing first."

"I do not fear pain, villain."
The man sighs. "I'm sorry for my abrasive demeanor. I've been having a lot of difficulty trying to get our respective friends freed. Truly, I'd love nothing more than a peaceful resolution to this conflict. I fear if it goes on much longer, both sides will have lost too much to truly win." He pauses for a moment. "Let's start over, shall we. My name is Dror. I am a general from House Sparrow and I have been tasked with diplomatic negotiations. I have a wife named Riva- she is of House Viper, sister to General Nagera, high commander of our operation- and a son named Liron. My father's name was Hed. He passed when I was eighteen, now a little short of half my lifetime ago. When Nagera is away, as he often is, I lead the city of Rendallas. I would like to be there now, with my family, but I am here." He turns away, resting his face in his hand. "I'd appreciate it if you told me a little about yourself now- your name, status, nothing more- but while you are with me I swear that no one will force you to say anything." To Xavic: "If you have anything to say to him, go ahead." To the soldiers: "Bring Broen, then leave." To the serving woman: "If he wants food or drink, bring it. I'm afraid we can't untie him yet, so you may have to feed him. I hope you're comfortable with that. If not, send someone who is."
