Due to the awkward positioning, the blade only grazes Corellus's leg. He slides his right leg around, turning so that he and Demiu are facing the same direction as he pulls his sword back. In the same movement, he completes the pivot, coming to rest a couple feet behind Demiu, facing towards him.
Demiu spins on the spot, leaps forward, and thrusts hard at Corellus once again.
Corellus twists out of the way and slashes across Demiu's back and side.

Demiu's armour absorbs most of the blow. A minor cut is done, but most of the damage is just bruising. Demiu rams his shoulder into Corellus, following up immediately with a horizontal slash.

Demiu follows him, his blade in a central position, ready to block any frontal attack.
{JAMMERS! -Shamrock- ONLY!} I was looking back at the original conversation about the duel, and you said you wanted Demiu to win but get bady injured in the process. I want to end this soon, so would you like to start setting up for that now? I was thinking Corellus would get a minor injury, Demiu would get a major one, and then Corellus would be wounded again and defeated.
The General holds out his hand. "Welcome, General...?"
The soldier looks alarmed. "General?"
"Drake ex Malthorn. House Dragon." shakes the General's hand. "I'm sorry solider, I was on an undercover mission from my father." Xavic smiles weakly.
Echain laughs. "Of course he's a general. Otherwise, he'd be kneeling, wouldn't he?" The General looks Xavic in the eyes. "Wouldn't he?" Without warning, he roundhouse punches Xavic in the jaw, knocking him to the ground. "That's better." He turns to the soldier. "Why did you bring him in?"
"He didn't know the proper signals for visiting the mages, sir. He said he had been told to bring them two swords by a Lance Corporal Arivis of House Jackal. The mages hadn't heard anything about it, and I don't recognize the name. Sir."
Echain crouches down next to Xavic. "Neither do I. Tell me, Drake ex Malthorn of House Dragon, who are you really?"

Demiu ripostes, then takes a step back, watching the general.
