Demiu moves, saving his sword arm, but his chest is hit. Depending on the broadness of Corellus' sword tip, it will either penetrate Demiu's chain mail and deliver a cut, or hit the exterior and leave a bruise beneath.
If the sword tip is narrow enough to enter, Demiu twists, briefly catching the general's sword in the mail, and swings the flat of his sword blade at Corellus' wrist.
If it is not, Demiu retreats, trying to move into a position where the sun is behind him, so that the general cannot look at him properly.
The sword tip is narrow. As the blade gets caught, Corellus presses foward, driving his shoulder into Demiu's and continuing to push with his sword. Demiu's blade instead strikes him in the forearm, bruising him but not causing him to drop his sword.
Demiu gasps in pain s the blade goes deeper. He pushes back against Corellus with his shoulder, whilst slashing at the general's leg.
