Yeah, or the Rhinos could still use fire chi, but ally with the Ice Hunters because it's more "profitable" or something. The Ice Hunters having a fire-powered ally could even it out more, since the fire-powered tribes already have an ice-powered ally, in the Vultures. The Tigers have been allied with the Phoenix and Leopards, but the reason I said the Phoenix are essentially part of the Empire of Balance now, is because they're now led by a Vulture agent. So the Tigers are still allied with the Phoenix and Leopards, just not officially part of the Empire. And I was thinking the Crocs joining the Tigers made some sense, because the Tigers had come to save the Croc Swamp when it was attacked. Also, the Spiders allying with the Eagles and Bats makes sense, since I lead all three of those tribes, so I could just merge them.
The Fire Rhino thing could work, yeah.

How about the Crocs go into the ocean? Change it up a bit? Like, hear me out...
The Crocs have been kicked from their tribe, and are hiding out in the moutains. They find a valley, which in ancient times used to be underwater. They find ancient glyphs, telling stories from long ago, about a war. In the legend, it states that the Crocs were descended from a tribe called the Pachong, which were essentially lizard warriors. One day there was a civil war, which divided the Pachong into two groups. The defeated were a group that wanted to submerge the island of Chima underwater, while the victors wanted peace. The victors would evolve into the Crocs, freshwater dwellers who, for a time, supported the Lions and were peaceful. But the defeated Pachong left to live in the ocean, forming an underwater civilization and evolving into a breed of Alligators (Gators for short). The Gators were technologically superior, and used underwater minerals to create their own artificial Chi. They had also built a device capable of submerging the island.
So the Crocs find the glyphs, an decide to so searching for the Gator's civilization. They build saltwater filters, submarines, etc., and journey out into the ocean...
Then we wait until the current storyline finishes up, then bring back the Crocs and Gators, who have allied and plot to submerge the island.
