That's a sound and reliable approach, however, what if after the tribes go extinct, and someone wants to bring them back, then we either introduce a Jurassic Park system or begin a Zomies of Chima event
A while back we agreed not to do a post-apocalyptic plot line, but maybe people have changed their minds now. IDK, I don't really like the idea of tribes going extinct, after all that lore we've written.
That's fair, ig we could go with your idea. Or we could form new tribes, combining the preexisting tribes into mixed factions. Not like the Chima Alliance, but more like... The Howling Commandos, I guess? You know? Like have a tribe called the Pride composed of Lions, Panthers, and Tigers, and combine Ravens, Eagles, Bats and Vultures into a group that resides on Cavora? That way we keep all the species, but have fewer more manageable factions.

Well the Bats now live out at sea for their own reasons, and have an embassy on Cavora, and the Vultures are part of the Empire of Balance along with the Leopards, but I like the idea of the Ravens, Eagles and Phoenix combining. Right now, the Wolves, Scorpions, and Gorillas make up an alliance called Unichi.
So, I was wondering if anyone is interested in taking over leadership of the Mammoths and/or Spiders. I led those two tribes for a while, had dedicated storylines for both of them, and now want to move on to other ideas. Counting the Ravens and Eagles, I'm now leading nine tribes, which is way too many to keep track of. If no one wants to lead the Spiders or Mammoths, well, those two tribes will probably be inactive for a while, because like I said, it's hard to keep track of all these tribes.

Well then yeah, I'd suggest just merging factions and creating, like, super armies. I also think of it like Wolves can't really combat Crocs (no gills) or Eagles (no wings), but if the faction also had Ravens and (sharks? idrk) then it'd be an even fight. So maybe we can work with that?

Well, the Crocs pretty much have to enter another tribe's territory in order to attack, like when they attacked Lion HQ back in 2017. The Ice Hunters can freeze water, which is why they froze the Croc Swamp and the Crocs so easily, since the Crocs didn't have fire chi. No tribe other than the Sabertoothes have attacked the Croc Swamp in the RP, so I guess I never really thought about the disadvantages other tribes would have against the Crocs.
I like the faction merging idea, because it solves this problem of too many tribes for the amount of people here; maybe if the leader of one tribe is inactive, the leader of another tribe within that faction could temporarily use the inactive tribe in battle. So, so far we have:
Unichi (Wolves, Gorillas, Scorpions) - OOC leaders: egorsmirnov, me
Empire of Balance (Vultures, Leopards, and essentially now the Phoenix as well) - OOC leaders: Me, TheFirstDecade
Ice Hunters (Sabertoothes, Icebears, and Mammoths) OOC leaders: Judah, Batonmaster500, me (Like I said, I'm probably leading too many tribes, so either the Sabertoothes or Icebears should just absorb the Mammoths into their tribe)
And soon, a new mega-faction made from at least the Eagles and Bats. So maybe the Rhinos, Crocs, and Tigers (the former two lack active leaders) could merge.

Excellent Concept. I'd suggest Crocs + Unichi, Rhinos + Ice Hunters, and Tigers + Empire of Balance. The crocs already have the villainous qualities of the Wolves and Scorps. We could try a storyline where the Rhinos are captured by the Hunters and turned into mindless Hunter drones, the few OCs and relevant NPCs that survive go to other tribes. Tigers already have some alliance with the Phoenix, yes? Plus that'll even out the numbers a bit. Also, I could use the Mammoths, if batonmaster500 doesn't want them.
Finally, I love this, the whole you guys agreeing with my idea thing. It's refreshing.

OOC: Tigers?!?!
OOC: I mean that, since the Rhinos and Crocs lack active leaders, you could have them ally with the Tigers, and lead them.

Yeah, or the Rhinos could still use fire chi, but ally with the Ice Hunters because it's more "profitable" or something. The Ice Hunters having a fire-powered ally could even it out more, since the fire-powered tribes already have an ice-powered ally, in the Vultures. The Tigers have been allied with the Phoenix and Leopards, but the reason I said the Phoenix are essentially part of the Empire of Balance now, is because they're now led by a Vulture agent. So the Tigers are still allied with the Phoenix and Leopards, just not officially part of the Empire. And I was thinking the Crocs joining the Tigers made some sense, because the Tigers had come to save the Croc Swamp when it was attacked. Also, the Spiders allying with the Eagles and Bats makes sense, since I lead all three of those tribes, so I could just merge them.

The Fire Rhino thing could work, yeah.
Tigers and Crocs does seem good, but who would they be allied with?

Yeah merging those three would be good
The Forgotten are still sitting behind that desk with Spiderman, liking how nobody is touching them for their sanity.

You always said you don't want them to be in alliances.
