I don't think it was impactful enough to give me adult trauma, thank goodness. Movie Reviews
Being a kid and seeing the dude get his arm ripped off was an experience.
More than Darth Maul's end? Or the Orcs in LOTR?
On a side note, as this is a Movie Themed Thread, on my viewing of the 25th Phantom Menace the theater employee inspecting the area for safety paused to watch and cheer along during the final lightsaber battle between Qui Gon/Kenobi vs. Maul. So, that was fun.
I actually got to go to the theaters and watch a movie while it was still new. This is big for me.
Inside Out 2 It never could have been as ground-breaking as the first, but I would've liked to seen more ground broken. This movie seems to tread a familiar path from the first film, and doesn't branch out far enough to really give us anything new. The last movie taught us all something about our brains, but this one taught some of us a lot about a part of our brains. Pixar just didn't have as many quirky insights up their sleeves this time.

: Despite lots of bright colors (and a fun control room console), I still think trying to LEGOize the characters of Inside Out make it not worth the trouble. Movie Reviews
Swan Princess Due to both content and animation quality, this movie feels much older than it actually is. That's not to say either are sub par, this movie is just a classic fairytale told using classic animation during an era that was pushing the new. It has both the beauty and the wit of its counterparts, and the musical numbers to back it all up. There is an abundance of side characters / kicks, but each stands out in its role. This is the most Disneyesque non-Disney movie you will ever see.

: The set potential is there, I'm not saying we need a Swan Princess line of LEGOs, but it could be done. Movie Reviews

The puffin was always my favorite. Hmm, another non-Disney princess film I can think of is Don Bluth's Thumbelina, but that film should have really been the adventures the best character in it — Jacquimo.
Now that you have seen Swan Princess...prepare yourself for Swan Princess II & III. (There is no such thing as cgi animated SP sequels in Ba Sing Se.)

There was such a huge cast of characters/sidekicks to pick favorites from.
Never seen Thumbelina, should I?
I'm always super wary of sequels that didn't make it to theaters, but maybe I'll check those out. Movie Reviews
Wonka Entertaining, but not as delectable as I hoped it would be. It's everything a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory prequel should be, but it's missing the unhinged light in Wonka's eye, and as such it feels like there is a third story in-between we are still missing. You could see a lot of what was coming long before it came, but that doesn't mean we didn't enjoy watching the cast dance and sing their way through another catchy musical number on the way.

: The target audience of this movie lines up pretty well with LEGO's (younger audiences and nostalgic adult fans), and the scenery and characters would have translated into some pretty great sets in my opinion. Not a missed opportunity, per se, but it could've been good.

I am quite certain dentistrys, candy manufacturers, and insurance companies had a field day with the film's promotion. Movie Reviews
Minority Report While the central concept is the stuff quality science fiction is made of, the occasional extra bit of weirdness waters down the impression. The idea behind this film takes some time for the viewer to work out, but once you do you can sit back and enjoy, especially the Tom Cruise action bits.

: I don't see much reason to make a LEGO theme for a one-off science fiction movie, but you could, there's nothing about this movie stopping you. Movie Reviews
