I walk around the city of Sitix, hoping to find Ronin in his shop. The only problem with that is I can't remember where his shop is, or what he looks like. I walk over to a man. He's wearing an orange and green shirt, green pants, a red hat, and a red sash around his waist. His brown hair goes about to his shoulders.
"Excuse me. I'm looking for Ronin," I tell the man. He turns around. He's wearing some sort of goggle over his right eye.
"Lloyd?"
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing here? The Ninja are worried about you. We better get you back" He tries to grab my arm.
"No. Please," I say quickly. "I just need to find Ronin." The man stops and gives me a puzzled expression.
"I am Ronin. Did you hit your head on the way here?"
"No. Look. I just need your help. You are my only chance."
"You sound pretty serious." He ponders on this for a moment.
"Can we talk some where private? Like your shop or ship."
"Yeah. We can talk on Rex. Come on." I follow him into his shop.
***
"So you need me to help you stay away from the Ninja and your girlfriend so you can regain all your memories and stop Pythor from using your girlfriend."
"She is not my girlfriend," I state. We're on Ronin's ship, Rex, which is high in the sky. He's sitting in the Pilot seat and I'm in the Co-pilot seat. He studies me as I look out at the blue sky. *Blue. Nya's favorite color. Jay's Ninja Suit Color. I wish they could help me.*
"Right," Ronin says sarcastically. "How do you plan on regaining them, anyway?" I think back to before the train ride to Stixx. I had been forced to sleep last time, and I just dreamt them. However, Rose might still be in my "dreamscape", which means I can't just go and sleep for a while.
"I don't know," I admit. "We'll have to experiment a little."
"That's great," he mumbles, looking back at the front window. I remember how I thought the park was familiar.
"The park," I whisper.
"What?" He turns and looks at me.
"The park." I speak up. "The park seemed familiar. I think it's important." I turn and look at him. "We're gonna have to stay on the move. Just to be sure she doesn't find me. I think we should start with the park." He nods. Then a phone begins to ring. He pulls his out and looks at the screen. A photo of Jay is on it. Not one of his best photo's, though.
"What should I say?"
"Say your going on a trip and will keep an eye out for me. Just make it up." Ronin puts the phone on speaker, and puts his hands on the controls. He starts to put us in motion, and I try very hard to keep quiet. I look out the main window.
"Hello?" Ronin almost yells.
"Ronin? This is Jay."
"Hey Jay. What's going on? Any luck with Lloyd?" I hold my breath.
"No. I can't believe he actually ran away. Where are you at?"
"Flying over..." He looks out the window. "you, actually." We're over a desert, and I can see the Bounty on the ground. Ninjago City is just ahead in the distance.
"I see ya. Where are you going?"
"I'm heading on a trip."
"But what about-"
"I'll keep looking for Lloyd."
"I don't know... You really shouldn't."
"I'll be back before ya know it. It's only a trip."
"Where are you going? How long will you be gone?"
"Oh. Nowhere in particular. Just gonna be traveling. I don't know when I'll be back, though." Ronin and I share a glance.
"Is someone there with you?"
"Er... you're breaking up. Gotta go."
"Wai-!"
"Bye!" He hangs up and speeds away. I look out the window, wondering when I can go home.
***
I look around at the park. *Something is important here. I just know it.* I bite my lower lip. Ronin glances at me and then back at the park.
"You look tired." I nod my head.
"Can't sleep." I just keep studying.
"Are you dreaming about her?"
"Not exactly," I say carefully. "Her power is Amber. She can absorb a power through touch and "copy" it."
"Like Skylor?" I nod my head as images of Skylor and the Tournament of Elements flash through my head. I had told Ronin on "Rex" to keep talking to me. It's helping, but it's not everything, either.
"Yeah," I say. "She probably touched someone with the Element of the Mind. That's why she can mess with my head, take my memories, and all that." Neuro also flashed through my head.
"That's a crazy element." I nod my head. We fall silent for a bit.
"I don't get it," I say, breaking the silence. "I know something important happened here."
"Sounds to me the main thing she would want you *not* remember is how she took them in the first place. I mean... you said she tried tricking you at first." Then I see it.
"One day, I just happened to touch someone, and they had the power of form. Next thing I know, I can transform into anything and anyone I want. This is just my normal look."
I was planning on commenting after I had caught up all the way, but I just had to say this. Obviously, Rose is some messed-up sinister fangirl to obsess over Lloyd and then mentaly traumatize him. Also, Rose must have touched my OC
Seriously, Lloyd?!?! You've known this girl for two days, and all she's done is mentally traumatized you, and now that she's seemed nice for two minutes, you kissed her?!?! Wow. Somebody's getting hormonal.
I cannot keep avoiding telling my Mom, nor can I be under their care. I brought this up to Rose the other day.
"You could run away."
"Where to?" I had countered.
"I'm not just a figment of your imagination. I live in the real world." I pondered on this for a minute.
"What is your story? You're backstory, I mean."
"That will be a story for another time."
"Ok... Why do you need my memories?" She had fell silent and walked away, causing me to wake up that day.
I sigh. I decide to take a nap, apologize to Rose, and ask her where she lives. I close my eyes just as the door opens.
"I've had enough of this!" I try to ignore Kai's voice and fall asleep. "Wake up!" I get pushed off the bed as soon as he says it. I let out a soft moan, telling myself not to get mad. Then, my mind jumps to when he pushed my father into the lava. I try to just stay on the ground.
"Enough. Patience is the key with this, " Wu's voice says. Then I'm up. Feeling like I have no control over myself, I lunge for Kai. Wu is standing next to him, but that doesn't stop me. I hear someone yelling, and i t takes me a minute to realize it's me. I knock the two of them down. Then, I get up and run out the door, seeing this as my chance to get out of here. I jump off the balcony and form my energy dragon. Going off in a random destination.
****
I land at the monastery. I land and begin taking deep breaths. My stomach begins to growl. I got so caught up in the moment, I forgot to go get some food. I sit down and try to calm down so I can think.
"Lloyd!" I run over towards the wreckage and hide within, thinking it's one of the Ninja. "I know you're here. Come out. " I turn around to find Rose. Relieved, I hurry over to her. We kiss, happy to be together.
"How did you find me?" I ask.
"I know you." I laugh and kiss her again. "Come on. Let's go home and eat." I take her hand as she leads me down the mountain.
***
"We're almost there, I promise." We've been walking for what feels like forever. I am super hungry and I'm beginning to feel drowsy.
"I can't go on." I breath out. She manages to catch me before I fall. She's stronger than she looks.
"It's okay. Do you think you could hop on my back?" Confused, I nod. "Ok. Once you jump on, you can fall asleep." With that, she let's me go. I catch my balance, and open my eyes. A brown horse is standing next to me. "Hurry up and jump on." Not asking anything, I hurry and hop on. I fall deeply asleep afterwards.
***
I wake up on a soft bed. Without opening my eyes, I smile at the comfort. Then, yesterday's events start catching up with me. I sit up quickly to see that I'm not on the Bounty. I sigh with relief and lay back down. The room is a dark gray, along with the bed sheets. There is a single window on one of the walls that is allowing daylight in. It is the only light source. The door opens and Rose walks in.
"Morning, Love," she smiles. I can't help but smile back.
"Morning. Where might I get some food around here?" She giggles.
"Right here." She pulls a tray of food out from behind her. It is loaded down with breakfast items. I begin to reach for it, but she pulls it out of my reach. "Not so fast. You gotta prove yourself." I give her a fake look of surprise and then agust.
"I think I have after that long walk." She smirks at me, as she ponders over this.
"Ok," she says reluctantly with a smile, and gives me the tray. I begin eat happily. "So..." She looks at me with a huge, mischievous grin. "What are your plans for the day?" I raise my eyebrows and look at her without turning my head; my mouth hovering wide open with my fork, food on it, inches from entering my mouth.
I close my mouth, swallow hard, and ask, "Are you serious?" She laughs as I continue to eat, more slowly this time.
"No. Good grief, take a joke, Lloyd." I let out the breath I was holding. "We might be able to have the full day to ourselves. It depends if I get called to work." I smirk at her.
"Work?" I ask. She blushes. "Like... money?" She laughs again.
"No, silly. It's something I can't tell you, yet." I ponder on this for a minute.
"Is it why you had to take my memories?" She bites her lower lip and looks away. She looks adorable. "Ah." Then a thought occurs to me: It seems I have been hanging with the Ninja before my memories were taking. Why else would they be the first thing I see when I wake up? If I was so mad at them for destroying Dad, why did I still hang out with them? Rose looks at me, almost as if she was reading my mind. Her eyes go wide with fear. Then, another thought clicks. "You're reading my mind." She blushes with embarrassment. "You always have been, haven't you? Haven't you?" She doesn't answer, but she does look away. I move the tray off my lap, to fed up to eat anymore.
"Lloyd."
"What else have you been doing with my head?" I demand.
"Nothing, I swear. I..." She sighs, trying to choose her words carefully. "It's my job to "borrow" memories, give them back, and make sure their owner is not led astray."
"Astray from what?" She bites her lip immediately. "You've been tampering with my head."
"No!" I can see the lie right through her eyes. I raise my eyebrows again. She winces. "I'm not suppose to tell you all this."
"Fine. Don't." I uncover and start to head to the door. I'm still in my ninja suit.
"Wait! Lloyd!" Her voice sounds surprised, and almost panicked. "I'm sorry." She tries to grab my hand to stop me. "Lloyd! Wait! Please!" I don't really know where I'm going. I just keep moving. There are at least a hundred hallways, and they all look the same.
"Fix thisss." I stop dead in my tracks, and Rose runs in to me afterward. The voice was only a faint whisper, but I could tell it apart from anywhere.
"Did you hear that?" I ask.
"Um."
"Remain ssssilent."
"No," Rose lies. I turn around and look at her in the eye. She had.
"It's there anyone else in the building?"
"No." She looked at me confused.
"Then why is Pythor in your head, and how am I hearing him?!" Then I blackout.
what is happening to Lloydy
he's changed
Eh, it's probably just some consequence of his stolen memories.
I am so glad you are reading my story. I also love you're responses to some of the parts. (They made me laugh, tbh. ) As to the "consequences of the stolen memory" that is kinda what I was going for. I remember wondering how I was going to have him react to everything and thought, "He's technically someone that can only remember how to talk and write. He can be anyone. "
I am really glad you're enjoying it and I'm going to do my best to have my next part up soon.
I walk around the city of Sitix, hoping to find Ronin in his shop. The only problem with that is I can't remember where his shop is, or what he looks like. I walk over to a man. You used "your" wrong.
It should be "you're"
I've made worse errors. And many more on this story.

Attack of the grammar police. Then again, to make that grammatically correct by making it a full sentence, I suppose I should say "That was an attack of the grammar police."
Oh, your taking flight! You'll soar if your story stays this good. I'll keep peeking in.
Thank you, Essa. Part of the reason it's taking me longer is because of this other story I'm writing. (And school) I haven't released it to the M.B.s though.
