I dream of Pythor. Which is a little weird and disturbing. It's not even all my memories, just ones where I saw him. Makes life a little confusing. However, it proves that I was hanging out with the ninja after my father's "death". This also leads me to believe that I can regain my memories on my own a little, too. In other words, I am highly doubting that Rose wants me to see all this.
Then, I realize that I am on the bed again. I listen for any signs that would give away another living being in the room. Hearing nothing, I open an eye. I am all alone in the room I woke up in earlier. I let out a sigh of relief. Knowing what I must do, I close my eyes and concentrate really hard on the "memory".
"Dad!" I am back inside the volcano.
"Okay," I tell myself. "Look for any signs." I remember in the "confession" that some areas seemed fuzzy. Instead on focusing on the main scene and "my" yelling, I scan the landscape. That's when I see it. It appeared for a split second and went away just as quick. An area where the landscape went fuzzy. Relieve, happiness, and joy begins to fill me, and I almost feel like I could fly. It wasn't real after all! But why did Rose want me to see that? I begin to consider this as the darkness begins to take over the scene. As soon as I had seen the memory, anger seemed to be the only thing I could channel whenever I saw or thought of the Ninja. Does this mean she wants me to take out the Ninja? If that is true, I cannot stay here. However, she is in my head, which means she could probably cause me to do more harm at home. That means I can't go there either. I sigh in frustration. Then an idea comes to my mind. Ronin! He may not be the best person ever, but he's better than nothing.
After I come up with my plan, I put it in the back of my head, and think about just waking up. I sit up and stretch. Then, the door opens and Rose comes in. She's biting her lower lip. I also keep Pythor and me trying to escape earlier in the back of my head. I try to just focus that she's in the room and other simple things. I study her. Her frame, her hair, her eyes, etc.
"Good," she clears her throat. "morning, love." I give her the biggest smile ever. She thinks she wiped my head. Might as well make it seem that way.
"Morning. What will we be doing today?" Relieved, she relaxes and returns the grin that I'm giving her.
"Well, I thought we could go exploring some of the rooms. There are a lot, and only I know how to get where we want to go." I raise an eyebrow.
"Rooms? Why not go outside?" I look at the window. "You know. With real sunshine." She glances outside, unsure. I have her right where I want her. "Please?" She starts to bite her lip. I raise my eyebrows. She eventually lets out a sigh of relief.
"I guess going outside couldn't hurt. We could go to the park. It's near here. Though, we'll have to do something about your outfit." I smile as she leads me out of bed and down a few halls. We go in a room that is full of clothes. Not just any clothes, but men clothes. They're really disguises. For a lot of men. I swallow hard. "Something wrong?" I look down at Rose. She looks at me with concern.
"No, uh, I'm just trying to figure put what to dress up as. There are a lot of choices." I give her a smirk and fill it full of love.
She blushes and says, "Well. First, we would have to figure out what would be best. I'm thinking..." She walks over to a rack a few steps away and pulls out an outfit. "This one!" She holds it out where I can see it. It's a red T-shirt, blue jean shorts, a pair of brown flip-flops, and a red cap. So much for green. I think.
"It's great," I say with a smile. She blushes, hands me the outfit, and leads me back to my bedroom so I can change. I quickly change. When I open the door, Rose has changed her appearance, too. Her once olive skin has lost it's darkness. Her shoulder-length dark hair had turned blond and comes to her ears, barely even her neck. Her blue eyes have turned into a dark-chocolate brown. She's also shorter in height, and almost looks as if she had gained a pound or two. She's wearing a purple short-sleeve shirt, blue overalls, sneakers, and a dirty black cap. It's so different that it takes me a minute to realize it's her.
"Ready?" She's changed her voice so it has a bit of an accent, and is a little higher pitched.
"Uh, yeah."
"I thought it wasn't fair that you had to dress up, so I thought I would do it with you. Besides, I find it fun." I just nod my head and smile. She eventually leads me outside. All we have to do is walk across the street. However, the park itself looks very familiar. It's probably nothing. I try to convince myself, hoping that I don't unlock a memory and make Rose suspicious enough to dig through my head. She leads me to a neatly laid-out, red and white checkered blanket spread out on the grass. There is a brown picnic basket on it. She sits down on the blanket and looks up at me, smiling. I smile back, deciding this is my only chance. I try to force one thought into her head: Go into a deep sleep. She begins to blink, almost like she's fighting to keep her eyes open.
"Lloyd?" She almost yawns the question out. "Are you sure you want to be out here? They..." This time, she really does yawn. "They might find you out here."
"Who?" I ask as I go down to lay next to her.
"The Ninja." Her eyelids begin to fall, slowly.
"Oh, them. I'm promise you, I'm right where I want to be." I smile. This helps her relax even more, and, soon enough, she lets out a little snore. Perfect! I get up and run in a random direction, trying to guess where Ronin might be.
********************
I wish I could call the Ninja for help. I have been walking for a while, and I'm starting to get hungry. I'm starting to think I should of grabbed that basket. Oh well. I'm in the desert, almost near the train tracks. Then I hear a train horn. I turn around to see it heading in the direction I'm going in. I almost yell out in joy. I use airjitzu to get in a car easier, and I take a nap once I'm safely inside.
********************
"Betrayal!" Rose is furious with me. Her back is turned so I can't see her face. I had forgotten that we could be connected through dreams.
"Dang it," I whisper to myself.
"What was that?" I bite my lip imediently. Then I think of something.
"It's not my fault. You went to sleep and the Ninja found me."
"Then why wasn't I captured?"
"I walked away a few steps to take in the beauty of the park. It seemed familiar." She turns around and looks at me. Anger and sadness show on her face. "The next thing I knew, I got grabbed."
"Where do they have you captive?" Uh oh.
"I don't know," I lie. "They blindfolded me." She nods her head, looking down. A wave of guilt begins to rush over me, and I almost start to tell her the truth. I walk over to her and tilt her head up so she can see me. "Hey. If there's one thing I know, it's that you'll find me soon." As soon as it leaves my mouth, we both know it's true.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! *Runs around room screaming* *Sits down* yeah, so it's MOAR time. :-P
The Blue and Black Ninja look at each other and then me. The Maroon and Red just stare at me in shock. The Maroon then goes into the Red Ninja's arms; both of them embracing each other. I look over to see the Silver Ninja coming back with an older couple. The man has a white braid that goes in between his shoulder blades, a long, white beard and mustache that goes down to his torso, and he is wearing white robes and a circular, straw, brownish-yellowish hat. The woman has long, gray hair that is pulled back into a braid down her back, small round classes, dimples, and she is wearing an adventure-looking outfit. The outfit includes a green scarf and pants, a khaki shirt, and a belt. The woman looks oddly familiar. So familiar, I can't help but stare at her.
"Lloyd!" I stand up as she hurries to me in excitement. As if the motions were automatic, I spread my arms out and embrace her. It feels... right.
"Hey..." I try to continue, but I can't remember the rest of the sentence. Instead, my voice trails off. I keep holding her for a minute, to cover up my embarrassment. Sadness starts to fill me when I have to let go. I give her a small, sad smile as she searches my eyes for an answer.
"Lloyd?" Her voice is soft and gentle, but also with sadness and caution. "What's wrong?" I look around at everyone, not certain at what to expect, but to my surprise, they are giving me small smiles of sadness, yet support. This woman must be really important to me.
"Well, uh..."
"Hey, Misako!" I turn around in confusion and surprise. The Blue Ninja starts talking immediately. "This is an amazing mother-son moment, but who is flying the Destiny's Bounty?" My eyebrows went up when he said "mother-son moment". Then the reality of "flying" hits me.
"What?" I ask in surprise. I run over to the edge and look over. "Did I say "flying"? I meant steering. Oops." I swallow hard as I see a city below me. "Way to go, Jay. Now she'll know." "What's wrong with my son?" "We don't know," the Blue Ninja confessed. "When he woke up, he claimed to have no memory of us," another voice says. I back away from the ledge, into some crates. I fall down to the floor. My vision starts to blur as I take deep breaths. "Lloyd?" I can barely make out my Mom. Her voice is filled with concern. Then I black out.
**************
"Hi, Lloyd." Nothing. I see nothing. I can't even tell if I'm blinking. However when I look down, I can see my own Green Ninja suit on me. It's almost like I'm glowing. Really? "I'm behind you, silly." I turn around to find a golden ball. It floats a few feet from my face. "There we are." "Who are you?" I ask cautiously. A pause of silence follows, almost as if it was thinking. "I'm... I can be many things." I look at it confused. "You... can be "many things"?" "Yes. For example, I'm a girl, but I'm also borrowing your memories." "Memories" catches me by surprise. "My memories?" "Did I not just say that?" "Why do you have them? I want them back!" I hate not knowing my own mother. "You'll get them back. In due time, of course." "I want them now!" Silence feels the air. "They're my memories. Besides, I don't think I gave you permission." I feel like a helpless child. "Oh, you did. I'll show you." A flash of white light blinds me, and I'm in a park.
**************
I see a boy with golden-blond hair and green eyes that look as if they have a golden sparkle in them, even though, they don't. He, like me, is wearing a green ninja suit. That's when I realize he is me. The Gold Ball is in front of him.
"Just watch." I jump at the Golden Ball's voice next to me. I notice that it looks fuzzy at certain points at the edges. Interesting.
"I just need to borrow them for a bit. I want to make sure you are remembering things well."
"You'll give them back to me afterwards?"
"As soon as I'm done with them. I promise."
"You said that no one will see this, right?"
"We are frozen in time. Just as I said."
"Ok. I agree." Golden lines of light flow from my mind to the ball. Then I collapse on the floor. Why would I agree? I wonder. A flash of light, and I'm back in the darkness.
"How does this sound? I'll give you back to them bit by bit. Unless you would rather have them all at once."
"No. I'll take them bit by bit."
"Good. It should start after you wake up. Bye now."
"Wa-" Before I know it, I am knocked back out of the darkness.

Such emotion... Stop it.
What's wrong with it? It's keeping you interested, is it not?
What's wrong with it? It's keeping you interested, is it not?
Nothing. I wish I could write with the emotion I felt when reading it. You're really good!
Although I don't like it when characters lose their memory, it's a good story either way. Have just finished chapter... four, I think, and lookin' forward to the next! I'm currently trying to decipher whether Rose is actually good or not. Heck, everyone probably knows but me! It says later on right?
I dream of Pythor. Which is a little weird and disturbing. It's not even all my memories, just ones where I saw him. Makes life a little confusing.
Ooo, nice... *Checks the next page* - wha..? No more?? IT CANNOT BE!! There must be more!
It's not done yet, so calm down. I'm currently in the middle of a bit of writer's block and being busy. I'll try to get the next one up as soon as I'm done.

Good job on catching up, BTW.
It's all good. Yeah, writer's block stinks, I understand that.
Well, good stories are motivating.
When does the story take place? (I've only watched up to Possession.)

Thank you.
Before Hands of Time, so right after Day of the Departed. (Ah. Ok. )
