Squeaky sighed and nodded. “Stomped on rubber duckies. Essa arrested me for it.” *SNIP*
“Stop calling me that!” I growled, glaring at him darkly. “What? Lady?” Squeaky asked, confused. “Yeah, stop, I don’t like that. It makes me think of puffy dresses and ribbons and powdered white wigs.”
Doesn't seem fair of Essa to arrest him for that when she committed the same heinous crime herself...
XD I'm not so fond of that term either, but more because it makes me sound 40+ years older than I am.
What. Essa, the moderator Essa, my friend Essa--that Essa--committed this deplorable crime? How did she become a mod with that on her record? Lol, I didn't know that she did it too. XD
Right? It makes me think of poofy dresses and it makes me feel old, neither of which is very fun.
“Got it,” He nodded. “Great. After that, we meet up at the main entrance and disappear under the cover of darkness.” I finished, grinning. “Alright, let’s go, team!” Weirdo and Squeaky disappeared into the shadows, quietly discussing how to go about their task. I watched the time nervously. We had only five (technically six) minutes to do this, otherwise we’d have to who knows how many hours. 11:54…11:55…11:56… Then I heard a whistle. “Yes!” I said triumphantly. “Come on, Dude, we haven’t a moment to lose.” He nodded and we exited the jail, going to the hallway at the end of the rectangular room full of cells. At the end of the hall near the door, there was a guard, a very tired looking guard. Beside him, hanging on a hook on the wall, was a ring of keys. “Okay,” I whispered, “I’ll knock him out, you grab the keys.” “Hey, that’s not fair! Why do you get the cool job?” Dude complained. “You get the keys and I’ll knock him out! I don’t want the wimpy job.” “Shut up and get the keys or I’ll knock you out,” I snapped in a half-whisper. “Yes, ma’am.” He gulped apprehensively. I nodded triumphantly and dashed down the hallway, quietly so that the half-asleep guard didn’t notice until it was too late. Telekinetically, I snatched the flashlight from his belt and knocked him upside the head with it. “What about second breakfast?” He asked in a sleepy voice as he slumped to the ground. I turned and saw Dude standing behind me, holding a ring of keys. “Great,” I said, “Let’s go.” He nodded and we unlocked the door behind the sleeping guard. Outside, Squeaky and Weirdo were waiting for us. “You guys got the keys?” Squeaky asked. “Yep, we got ‘em.” I confirmed. “You’d better, ‘cause otherwise--” Weirdo began to growl.

I am truly curious... what about second breakfast?
(Great job!! Keep going!! I cannot wait for the next part!!! You really like to kill us with the cliff hangers. )
