Gen 1: Squirtle (#SquirtleSquad4Life) (Unless Pikachu counts, from “Pokémon: Yellow”)
Gen 2: Totodile (I don’t really like the Gen 2 starters that much, but Totodile is pretty ok in my book)
Gen 3: Treecko (Because he’s pretty cool lookin’)
Gen 4: Turtwig (He’s a cutie, and his final stage is basically a continent )
Gen 5: Oshawott (As the first game I played was “Pokémon: White”, Oshawott was my first ever Pokémon, and is therefore my fave Pokémon to ever exist, along with Dewott and Samurott)
Gen 6: Froakie (For obvious reasons)
Gen 7: Litten (I did choose Rowlett in the Ultra remakes, but I chose Litten in the orginal wave. I like the wrestling-type look to his final stage, and I’m a cat-person anyway. Named it after my irl cat, Cookie.)
Gen 8: Scorbunny (Because I loved it’s bunny theme, and I really didn’t like the other ones at all, especially their evolved stages.)
1: Ah, yes. Pikachu is a classic. Also, Blastoise is awesome; it's got HYDRO CANNONS for crying out loud! 2: Yeah. Totodile is pretty cool. I mostly pick Chiko 'cause she's cute tbh, it'll also get me through a fire gym I guess, and I tend to prefer less monstrous final evolutions. 3: Its evolutions are cooler IMO though. I might even choose Treecko just for their evolutions, which makes all three the answer for me. 4: Yup. I loved its appearance in Detective Pikachu too! The Torterra were HUUUGE! (Also, if you fuse Turtwig and Squirtle, did you know that you get Turtle? I think that if you combine Torterra and Blastoise, you'll also get Tortoise. ) 5: Oh? Guess you're more of a veteran than I am. I mentioned my first Pokémon ever earlier being from Sun and Moon; I didn't get really into Pokémon until back in August when Detective Pikachu sparked my interest in the franchise, though I had been playing stuff like Pokémon Shuffle and Rumble World on the 3DS before then. My earliest full-on experiences with Pokémon were probably watching the Black and White anime on Cartoon Network; I don't think I played the games until last year though. 6: Yup. You love your Greninja, don't you? Greninja is pretty awesome. (Might end up choosing Froakie or Chespin because Fennekin's final evolution is a witch, which I don't like.) 7: Yeah, I have to admit, Incineroar is awesome! Funny how between me, you, and TheFirstDecade , we have all three starters. 8: Scorbunny Squad? (Also, do you have Sword or Shield? If not, which would you get?)
(I kinda feel like drawing an Audino, Greninja, and Flygon to represent the three of us, just cause. )
1. Exactly!
2. I actually like to be surprised on what they evolve into when I pick. Makes it much more fun. Like when you wanna see a movie, you try and avoid all the spoilers. Of course, I do know what the older gen starters evolve into.
3. That’s the reason I chose Treecko, actually. Septile is awesome, and his Mega-Evolution’s ability, Lightning Rod is so useful when fighting electric-type Pokémon. Blazekin is pretty cool too. Not sure how I feel about Swampert, though.
4. Yeah, awesome fan service.
5. My first experience was way back when I was in 3rd grade and CRCT was still a thing, and after taking the CRCT test for the day (we had one a day) us kids were allowed to use the remaining time to do whatever, and one kid had brought Pokémon cards. He taught us how to play, and we spent the next hour having Pokémon battles. The kid who had brought them actually gave us each a couple of cards on the last day to keep with us, and I remember he gave me these two cards, a Litwick and Lampent. And this was how I got into Pokémon. One day I was looking at those cards, and I decided I’d see what else I could find about it, and I found the TV show that was on at the time, “Black and White”. I started to get into it, and soon I was obsessed. I got every card I could get my hands on, and ended up getting more than I know what to do with now. I also have a Poké-Ball irl that has a little Pikachu figurine inside, and a Quick-Ball with a Hoopa in it. And THEN, I found out, “Whoa, there’s a game I can play on my DS with it! -insert spongebob “I need it!!!” meme here- So I went to the nearest GAMESTOP and bought White. After that, I bought a 3DS just to play the rest of every core game out there, as well as get a Switch for my 16th B-Day so I could play Sword. I also got an irl Z-ring, which is pretty cool. It came with Mimikium Z and Lycanium Z.
6. Yup! It was good to see my boy in Detective Pikachu too.
7. Not sure I understand? I have every core game from Diamond to Sword.
8. (-Megatron Yes-) As I said, I got Sword. I gotta tell you, I will choose Sword Doggo over Wiiide Doggo any day. XD
(Nah, I gotta be an Oshawott. Or a Lucario. Or Greninja. Ah, I can’t decide! 1 of the 3! XD)

1. I mean, who doesn't wanna go from adorable raspy-voiced turtle to a TANK, am I right? 2. Eh, the only one I didn't research was Rowlet. I had no idea what a Dartrix was when my Rowlet evolved. 3. If I could keep my Mudkip a Mudkip, I would, tbh. Is it weird that I thought it was adorable in the ORAS trailer when Sceptile affectionately nibbled Brendan? 4. Yeah. The movie is loaded with it. I mean, what more can I say, IT HAD MY FAVORITE POKEMON IN BEAUTIFUL CGI, so... 5. Since Gen 5 was probably my first real contact with Pokémon, and my favorite Pokémon is from Gen 5, and I've literally binged a whole season of Black and White, does this make me a Gen Fiver? (actually it kinda does, Unova is my favorite region next to Galar.) 6. Even if he was kinda terrifying in that. 7. I mean the starter Pokémon. I picked Rowlet, TheFirstDecade picked Popplio, and you picked Litten. 8. Yup. I chose Sword too. Sword doggo all the way!

(An Oshaluninja? Man, that would look weird...)
I have MANY factors for liking Popplio, i have a plush of it (glad i got it), i love how beast it is in it’s Special Attack (i will never forget the day i was in a tag double battle in Moon, one Sparkling Aria wiped out the ENTIRE field in all one hit and i went insane. Skull Grunts and Hau only felt it’s 1% of Leilani Lani’s ultra instinct. ), i managed to get a Popplio with a defense-boosting nature in Ultra Moon making it a pretty good physical tank, aaaaannd theres alot of fanart on the internet that proves that this Opera-singing Sealion-Mermaid is epic. And everyone hated popplio when it was first revealed! What a comeback!
It may be my favorite Starter, but not THE favorite Pokemon of my choice~
