"H- hang on!" He runs up and blocks her path. "If you keep going like this, you'll push yourself too much! You need some rest if we're going to make it."

"Fine. When we find a comfortable spot, we'll take a break. I just don't want to go to the village, okay?"

"Why not?" He glances back curiously at the village.
Maicyn stops. "I'll take it easy, okay? I promise. But we can't get sidetracked. It's a long journey as it is."
He glances back at the village, then sighs. "If you're sure... Just, tell me whenever you need to stop, all right?"
"I will." They continue, and Maicyn, true to her word, tells Azril when she needs to stop, although he can tell she's pushing it just a bit farther than she probably should. Even so, as the days pass, she begins to recover. One day, they are forced to hide as a group of armed goblins passes by, but it is without incident. After five days, as they prepare to rest, Maicyn tells Azril that tomorrow they will reach their first destination. "We're going to get to the part of the mountains where the people I want to talk to live. Don't say anything, don't stare, and don't be rude. You're a stranger, a guest, and these are very powerful people."

He agrees, albeit with a nervous look. "Will they mind Robin?"

He casts her a glance but responds with only an "hm".
As their journey continues the next day, Azril notices a lot of shapes flying high above in the sky. They trek higher into the mountains but still see no signs of construction or civilization. Finally, they stop in front of a large cave. "Okay, we're here." Riders of Paladeen: A Roleplay

He peers into the shadows nervously.
Azril sees something large stirring, but before he can look closer he hears the sound of rushing air above him. Looking up, he sees an enormous shape descending, its light blue shape shifting slightly in color so that it no longer blends with the sky. He can make out a long, sinuous form with two large, outstretched wings and two smaller wings that flap as the creature descends. "Hello, humans." Riders of Paladeen: A Roleplay

"H-" Azril slaps a hand over his mouth with a stifled squeak, remembering not to speak.
