Shall we revive this topic to create theories for Solo and Episode IX?
Sure, but I don't really have an theories for those films. Personally, I'm already not a fan of the Han film. I think it's just a silly way to make more money. I doubt it'll add anything extra to the franchise. Even Rogue didn't add anything to the franchise, just kinda ruined the far superior old cannon.
The only "theory" I have is for Episode IX to be incredibly campy, with Kylo being shown as a liar. I doubt many loose ends will be tied... cause money. Honestly, I don't care who Rey's parents are, or who Snoke is. It's all just to get you to watch the next movie.
Sad when EA Games came up with better characters than Disney.
Ok,also did you here that another new SW trilogy was just announced to be made by the game of thrones writers. Sounds dodgy to me especially since we've still got Rian Johnsons trilogy on the way too. I feel that he should be fired from overseeing them.
Im looking forward to the Obi Wan movie if the rumours are true along with the live action SW TV series which I feel will take place right after order66 during the dark times era. Theres lots of great EU material there to make in to episodes an also George had a SW underword series planned for that era having already wrote 100 episode scripts. Quinlon Vos and Boba Fett where meant to be major characters for the series along with surviving jEDION THE RUN i THINK.
Why should Rian Johnson be fired?
Simply because he ruined the franchise even more after TFA and that he wont accept that he made even the slightest mistake in the direction he took with the characters and plot. Spoilers for episode 8:
{JAMMERS! -username- ONLY!} Snoke should of survived along with Luke. Leia shouldve died as its the last film Carrie Fisher could ever be in. Hux along with Poe perhaps shouldve died. Lando shouldve appeared as perhaps Finns dad on Canto Bight. Ackbar shouldve survived. There needed to be a funeral of some form for Han Solo. In fact in TFA they shouldve had Luke,Leia,Han and Chewie all meet again once more like Mark Hamill suggested before they each got picked off. Infact I think it wouldve been more interesting if they scraped Rey and Kylo and instead reintroduced new version of Jaina,Jacen and Anakin Solo along with Ben Skywalker and Mara Jade whilst keeping hold of Finn to be Landos kidnapped son.

They need to employ one of the following people to make a SW movie: Peter Jackson Steven Spielburg Jon Favreu Maybe Guilmero Del Toro Matt Reeves Edgar Wright

The film's been out for 2 months now, I'm not going to bother with spoiler alerts:
If they had known Carrie Fisher was going to pass away, I'm certain Luke would have survived to the third film. But it would be extremely difficult to change this much so late into production. As it stands, these choices make complete sense without Carrie's death in mind.
And how would Lando showing up make the film any better? Billy Dee Williams isn't in good health, anyway, even if they did make the pointless decision to make Lando Finn's father.
Your ideas here sound like complete fan service in my opinion, instead of trying to tell a good story.

Sure, I guess. I don't really have any super big detailed theories, but I do have one prediction or IX. However, it is my belief that theories should be taken lightly and no one should set their heart on something becoming true, since it's all just speculation, sometimes lacking much evidence.
{Ep VIII Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!} Now that we've seen Kylo smash Supreme Leader "Turns-Out-I'm-Probably-Not-Darth-Plagueis" Snoke, he's going to need his own apprentice, right? That is, assuming he follows the Sith ideology, but let's be real, he's Kylo, why wouldn't he? Anyway, he will of course want to seduce Rey and make her his apprentice ultimately. But for the time being he will most likely take one of his fellow Knights of Ren under his wing until he can get to her. That's my theory. It might seem kind of obvious, or it might blow your mind, I honestly don't know if this occurred to many other people. But it's the most specific prediction I have at the moment, so it'll have to do either way.
Dude I haven't seen it yet.
I'm so sorry, I literally just broke my own rule, but I figured enough time had passed by now. I am extremely upset that that happened, I really am! At least there are plenty of other twists to surprise you.

Ehh... it's been 2 months...
Well, Rome hadn't seen it and I just ruined it for him.

A Peter Jackson Star Wars film would certainly be interesting. Spielberg, however, has stated he will never direct one because it is not his genre but George's.

Well I feel like those ideas are still better than the last 2 sequel trilogy movies which a 10yr old could've wrote.

I know of the first 2 but not the other ones; which films did they direct?

I wasn't aware 10 year olds were capable of writing such a complex villain, or such a great final moment for Luke.

Jon Favreu did stuff like Iron Man and The Jungle Book.
