So now that this topic is up, I suppose I should put up a theory or two I've seen recently.
JYN'S KYBER CRYSTAL:
So this theory is about how Jyn's Kyber crystal is actually helping the crew of Rogue One complete their mission. Jyn can be seen... praying (for lack of a better term) to the kyber crystal on her necklace while the Empire is checking if the stolen Imperial Shuttle can land... and then they are cleared for landing.
if you don't know, Kyber crystals are pretty much alive, and prefer the light side of the Force, and Sith crystals are red because the kyber crystal resists the Dark Side, so the Sith must Force the crystal to work for it, causing the crystal to 'bleed'.
So could Jyn's crystal be manipulating the Imperials checking them in, through the Force, knowing the pain the Death Star will cause people? The Force works in mysterious ways, so I wouldn't be surprised if this theory was true.
What do you guys think?

That makes a lot of sense, actually. Hm.

The fact that it's there is a big deal -- they were outlawed by the Empire and are the key to building superweapons and lightsabers. That said, I love your theory.

Oh, it's not really my theory. But it's a fairly popular one I've seen numerous places and I believe it!

I posted this theory about how Snoke is really Darth Maul on the MBs a while back, but there is even more evidence to support it now, so I'll be adding that at the end.
Okay, so before we get into the theory, I'm going to recap everything that we know FOR SURE about Superme Leader Snoke (most of which we know thanks to the novelization of The Force Awakens):
- Snoke is an alien - Snoke witnessed the rise an fall of the Empire - Snoke had at least one apprentice before Kyle Ren
Now, for who I think Snoke is...
Darth Maul
Okay, Darth maul is an alien, just like Snoke. Maul witnessed the rise and (while we have to wait until Rebels is over to be sure) probably the fall of the Empire. Snoke 's first apprentice could quite very well be Ezra, and since I feel like Ezra would have been involved in the events that take place in Rogue One, he probably turns to the Dark Side before A New Hope.
Why else would Lucasfilm decide to continue Maul's story through Rebels? Plus, if Rey is a Kenobi, Thisbe would be amazing storytelling. Rey, eventually having to defeat her grandfather's old enemy.
Obviously, Snoke looks very differently from Maul, but if Maul gets major injuries in Rebels, if his tattoos fade and his horns are, say, burnt off, he could look quite like Snoke.
And don't say Disney afraid to bring stories from the TV shows into the movies, as Saw Gerrera appears in Rogue One (which isn't a spoiler because he is in the trailers).
If you think about it, Rebels could very well have been created to tie into the movies, first by showing how the rebellion got to the point it is at in Rogue One, and to show how Maul became Snoke. And don't forget, J.J. Abrams said that's Snoke isn't really a Sith, and we saw Maul pretty much revoke the Sith in The Clone Wars and Rebels.
And before you say that's Darth Maul would be too old, Sith can live longer with their Dark Side powers, like Sidious did.
New evidence: Episide VIII's title card is red. The only time the Star Wars logo has been red before was in some Maul episodes of The Clone Wars. Also, in the trailer for Rebels season 3, we see that Maul will duel Obi-Wan, the possible cause of the major injuries we see on him as Snoke. Thirdly, a Darth Maul comic series for Marvel has been announced, proving that Lucasfilm wants to flesh out his backstory even more.
So, what's everyone think. If you have any evidence to disprove it, I do want to hear it!

You quoted me but didn't say anything.
