Chapter 21
You craft an iron axe, and use it until it breaks, getting you two hundred and fifty units of wood. You could craft it into planks to get four times as many, but you believe you will use the wood as well. You believe your next step is to get sheep to get wool to make a banner. You return to the forest where you got the wool for your bed earlier. You find the clearing and the sheep again, and attempt to push one back up to your hill. However, it appears completely uninterested, and walks back to rejoin the other two. You search through your belongings, and offer one of them a cooked fish, though it does not care. You offer another an arrow, to similar effect.
Eventually, after offering the sheep several other things, you try offering them wheat. To your surprise, they all turn toward you, and look at you attentively. You move to your right, and the sheep follow you. You move to your left, and the sheep follow you again. You attempt to have the sheep follow you back up the hill to your house, but they are unable to climb the hill as well as you are. Instead, you leave them in their clearing, but place torches in the forest so as to repel monsters. After you have collected a satisfactory amount of wool, you begin work on designing a banner. You go through several different designs, but are unable to decide on one. The next day, you wake up with inspiration. However, you are unable to dye it on a banner. As such, you build a larger one, directly out of blocks of wool. You would describe it as a red plus on a yellow background, but the plus's vertical line is longer on the top and bottom. You place multiples of this banner on the tower you have built, and begin building the foundation of the main castle. You start with the staircase leading into the room with the portal, sealing off the rest of the stronghold at the same time. At about this time, you run out of fish that you caught previously, and wonder whether you should return to the river and get more, or make all the wheat you got from your farm into bread. You think you'll make some cake.

Ah yes, the classic "I'll update this more frequently" followed by absolutely nothing for nearly four years =P But anyway, I've been thinking about coming back to this now that the Minecraft End Poem is now legally public domain. I don't fully remember how the story was supposed to go, but I would like to finish it eventually even if there's no one who would read it =P
