Hay digs, can you reply to this to check in and clam your troops. If you don't I'll just keep them either at the HQ on deffince or with the main Umbarian army ready for you at any time.
Wait, are we finally start*-)? If so, what do I need to do again to get my army ready? Don't you have to like train them over time?

Yes we should start to marrow (Sunday). Nothing, though I recemond looking over the unit list and choosing units, you can have as meny different types as you would like. We start with an army, then you have to retrain any losses. You will also get a fleet of around 15ish warships plus transports.
{JAMMERS! -Digs- ONLY!} I would recommend staying with the main fleet/army as they go to tolflast. Or you could march your army over land to go fight Gondor on land. I don't realy care, its your troops, I'm not going to give orders unless we need to, like the hq is under attack.
Just let me know what you plan to do. Like I said its up to you, I'll just give suggestions if you ask. If you are going over land I might take your fleet temporally.

{JAMMERS! -Digs- ONLY!} Ok thats fine. You have 5000 'points' though in the RP they are called MWE or "mannish worth equivalent"
Thats up to you, I don't know how much you know about anchaint/midieval warfair. But in some ways its like a rock-paper-sisors game. Cavalery beats archers, and light infintry, Heavy infintry beats cav. And Archers beat infintry. There is a lot more to it, but thats the basics, also don't let your troops get flanked, or charged from the rear. And keep archers out of melee combat for the most part.
Our main opponite (Dol Amroth) has realy good knights so I am mostly bringing stuff that counters knights. (Pikes for Umbar, and Camials and elephants for my other army)
I'm sure you've heard of alxander the great. I am mostly basing my stragity around his. So heavy pikemen, supported by archers, with light cavalery and infintry guarding the flanks and Heavy Cavalery to flank and charge them.
So enough of that rambling, I would recemond pikes (corsair protecters), with maybe some crossbowmen (port guard crossbows). Then some calvery to guard the flanks, (Erume roquen) and maybe a few cataphracts to hit the enemy from the rear.
But if we want to team up one of us can bring most of the infintry or archers and the other one can bring cavalery.

{JAMMERS! -Digs- ONLY!} Sorry, here comes another long post. Ok, sounds good, Don't worry about moving your troops, I they are in the fleet at tolfast. Shamrock (Dol Amroth) made a mistake, since he forgot to send any calvery to Tolfast, so I am going to bring a good amount of calvery, Go ahead and bring pikes, and soem crossbows. I am making some new units but we woln't need them.
Just checking, you know how to fight in the rp right?

{JAMMERS! -8LEGOS- ONLY!} So just spend all my points on those 2 units, maybe half and half? Not really, but I might remember if you remind me:). I know you move troops around by saying so, but I don't remember how we agreed upon what troops are lost in an attack move.

{JAMMERS! -Digs- ONLY!} Ok I have some time now. I appolagise in advance for the long post.
I think Gondor (bobbywan) is bringing up more men. I don't know what types but they should more or less be infantry with some archers and maybe a few cavalry. I'm worried that he might have some pikes though. I'm also bringing 8000 of my Haradrim and 1000NWE of ships too. So we should out number them by about 2-3 to 1.
I think that would be fine maybe a few 3000 pikes and 2000 archers. You might want to throw some light cavalry to protect your flanks. Just in case they get around me somehow.
You don't half to just bring those units it was just a guide to help. But you should for the most part bring infantry and Archers. The beleagar guardians would be good too. I just remembered that we have to go back to the HQ to change out our troops. Which you can do after the battle but you may want to put some more cavalry in your army too.
How to fight in the RP: MM did a post in the RPDT, so you may want to check that out I think its on pg 13. But here is a rough outline.
Its a lot like a RTS game if you have ever played one. There is one that is vary similar but I don't know if I'm allowed to say what it is (I couldn't at the old MBS) and I don't want this post to get rejected.
But you are a general leading your army's to fight against another country's. A move would be something like this *my archers fire at your infantry* and your opponit would reply with somthing like this. *they raise their shields to block the arrows* and then *My cavalry charges your archers*
The amount of men lost would be agreed on by both sides. It depends on what sort of attack it was, the armor of the men, do they have shields, the MWE of both sides, How many troops are there, are they being flanked, are the troops in a formation? And others, I know it sound hard but you'll get the hang of it quick. All the the RPers are helpful and kind, if you need some one to help figure out losses you can me, EE or one of the other RPers (bobbyone is good too). Just be careful because sometime the people fighting in the battle can be slightly bised, and may not always want the correct amounts of troops to be smashed. I'll give you an example of how it works. In the case above the infantry would probably loose about 10 men out of 500 since they had shields, and where probally well armored. The arrchers would have lost much more. If there was say 100 cavalry that charged. The archers (assuming that they are lightly armored) Would have lost around 200+ men in the attack. Like I said it would depend on the armor of the archers, how tightly they are packed and how good the cavalry is. But that should give you a feel for how it is done. Another questions?
Like I said sorry for the long post, there is just a lot to cover.

Also, what is the name of all the units I listed above for when I post my army? You will be at the battle, so you can help us decide who loses what in the battle, and also assist me in my moves if I am having trouble:). Lastly, what's the route to the battle?

I Kind of look at Evil's Jammers in the RP most of the time, particularily when they're 90% chance orders/instructions/help.
