The moment I finally get around to finishing this story I'll probably crash into inactivity forever.
Liking a post doesn't necessarily mean I like its contents, right? It can be generalized to a sort of acknowledgement/that-made-me-laugh-kind-of sentiment. Right?
Because I liked your post, but I don't want you to go inactive. Even though we don't really interact anymore, since I spend most of my time in the Castle forum, writing my story and making the occasional Castle RP post. And also moderating.
I'm done rambling now, I promise.
Although really, as far as rambling goes, that wasn't very long. I could ramble more if I wanted to, I swear I could.

Yah I think so.
Eyyyy, thanks. I didn't know anyone... What's a nicer word to use other than "cared"? 'Cause that sounds too harsh. Ah yes, the Castle RP. How's that going by the way? I miss the good old RPs but I'm too unreliable to set foot there imo.
Also, by the other way, do you think it's actually worth finishing this story? It was meant to be an epic conclusion of events to make up for other times I've had slips in quality but I've kinda ended up making a bit of a hash out of it.
Also, by that third way, (I don't think I got around to saying this before but) congratulations on becoming a moderator!

You didn't know anyone was invested, perhaps?
It's going all right. We have about six active or semi-active RPers. A lot of it depends on Shamrock, and he unfortunately is having difficulty with being active, but he's making an effort and things are progressing, just slowly. I'm not going to be able to do everything I wanted to do, but I think I am going to be able to do some of the things I had previously thought I wasn't going to be able to do, so that's good.
It's absolutely worth it, as long as you enjoy writing it.
YouKnowWho, after a short while of running, slowed down to a complete standstill. The spider’s scuttling faded completely in the distance, along with Agent’s screams. YouKnowWho slowly became aware of the darkness surrounding her. The silence weighed down heavily, and her heart pounded faster. Eyeing the darkness nervously, she continued catiously. She jumped when a voice sounded through the comms.
“How’s it going?” Cascade asked.
“Could be better.” YouKnowWho replied. “Who was screaming?” Cascade asked.
“Agent.”
There was a hint of contempt in Cascade’s voice as he replied “I always knew he would break eventually.”
YouKnowWho just silently continued forward. The darkness that surrounded her encroached uncomfortably. After a short while of silence and slow going, she heard a sigh through the comms.
“I’m not in the mood to be sneering right this moment, so I’ll ask you kindly. Please hurry up and move faster.”
YouKnowWho didn’t answer, but just started jogging down the tunnel. After a while, she paused when she saw something glinting in the dull light on the ground. Cautiously, she approached it and peered at it. It appeared to be a stunner, like the ones Cascade’s men used. She picked it up and inspected it closely. It had three settings – light, medium, and heavy. Obviously, that was for how heavy the stun would be. She flicked it to heavy and took a few more steps forward. There was something else – a sword, also one of the weapons she saw Cascade’s men carrying. It was arguably better than the one they had issued her, so she dropped her current one and picked the other up. She saw several broken parts of armour and other things acattered across the ground, and after a while she came across a body or two. She carefully stepped over them, and after a few seconds her guess quickly came to a conclusion - Cascade’s men had tried to fight the spider, but failed.
After a few more minutes, she finally heard something apart from the sound of her breathing and footsteps. She quickened her pace, stunner and sword raised. The sound of the spider scuffling grew louder. Finally, she rounded a corner and saw the spider a short distance away, trying to throw Agent off. He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip around the sword handle. The spider sensed YouKnowWho’s presence and turned around. After a brief staredown, it screeched and rushed at her. YouKnowWho quickly dived to the side, narrowly avoiding being snatched by the spiders pedipalps. The spider struck the wall, and Agent’s sword was dislodged. He fell and hit the ground while YouKnowWho jumped to her feet and shot the spider three times with the stun gun. The stun effected the spider quite badly, and it screeched and swung around to face her. She shot again as the spider stumbled forward. It dropped to the ground for a moment, then scrambled up again. YouKnowWho stepped back, further and further, until she had her back to the wall. She shot a few more times then stopped to preserve ammo. The spider stumbled to a halt and wavered for a moment. Its eyes seemed to go blank for a moment, then it tensed again and positioned itself to lunge at YouKnowWho. Suddenly, with a shout, Agent rushed at it from behind and slashed at it. YouKnowWho swung her weapon at it and cut off its right front leg, and slashed it across the top row of eyes. The spider screeched and confusedly swung around to face both of them. Agent rushed forward, sword raised. The spider stabbed at him with its left front leg, which Agent deflected, opening up the spiders defence for another attack from YouKnowWho, who brought her sword down and badly injured the spider. But none of the injuries it sustained seemed to faze it.
Did you know that word already, or did you have to look it up?
