Bliston turns sharply and snarls: "Wrong!" Bliston (takes a breath): "Sorry, Barney. I've been stressed out over this folly with the fugitive wolf who crashed here. So far we haven't been able to capture him, and this hunt is costing us time and men. We need to get back to building the New Bat Fleet, and of course expanding our supplies of air and ground vehicles."

OOC: They're babies right now, so... I guess anyone can control them? I have plans to use them as adults in the Legacy Trilogy, but in the RP, they're just infants, right? Unless you start aging them up over time, like I'm doing with Bernard.

Keep in mind that this is all hypothetical; though the Rays already exist in the lore, I won't introduce them into the RP itself unless everyone agrees upon the idea of introducing non-canon tribes.

At the newly-constructed dock, the Naval Bats cheer as Bliston and the others appear over the horizon. The two groups of bats begin mining for resources and constructing buildings and defenses almost immediately after reuniting with each other. With almost the entire Bat population working, progress is swift. Bliston sends his raven ward Rex and some bats back to the mainland to establish an embassy.
The main castle and city in the center of the island grows quickly, and Bliston names it Balthazar City, after the late Grand Admiral and friend who discovered this island. A large science lab is built in the east of the city; it is the main research center and factory for Dr. Benjamin and the other scientists and engineers.
Production continues on the 2nd Fleet. The steel-plated ships are identical to those of the original fleet, except with a gold and red color scheme instead of a black color scheme, due to the fire chi. The laser cannons now shoot fire chi laser blasts, and the old fashioned cannons now launch flaming cannonballs. Other than that, the ships are the same. Since construction of Balthazar City has long since been finished, most bats are focused on building the new fleet, and it eventually reaches the size of the original Bat Fleet at its prime:
Of the seven remaining ships from the original Bat Fleet: two of them, which were heavily damaged, have been deconstructed for parts and materials. Another one, the battleship that was Grand Admiral Balthazar's flagship, the Ascendancy, is carefully brought into Balthazar City's museum, as part of the "Bat Fleet of Old" exhibit. The remaining aircraft carrier, destroyer, and patrol boat are also put into the exhibit. Lastly, the other remaining battleship, which was in the best condition out of the remaining ships of the old fleet, is named the Ascendancy II, and made the flagship of the Second Fleet. Bats plug fire chi into it, giving it the same color scheme and weapons as the other ships of the 2nd Fleet (so it's one of the 26 "new" battleships).
