Amvion returns this sentiment, and follows the servant to his room.
Gidie heads up to his tower.
The room is spacious and comfortable, though a little dusty. It is one of the many rooms that has gone largely underused since the eviction of Lord Enguerrand.

OOC: I'm going to jump to the morning now, just to keep things moving a little.
IC: In the morning, Gidie and Amvion eat breakfast together before Amvion returns to the Dragon Knights castle (along with Jeorge, who has been here, as a member of his guard, the whole time). Amvion tells Gidie that he will notify him about the conference when he has made some decisions.
In the middle of the afternoon, Gidie has gathered the leaders of the Forest Band to talk about his plans for the treaty. He sits with Harfor, Merek, Kalena, Captain Tiberius, and the captain of the guard in his tower. “I’ve been reviewing the Treaty,” he explains, “and it seems that Lord Amvion may have ample grounds to dismantle it if the other kingdoms agree.”
Kalena scowls. “That’s unacceptable. What are we going to do?”
“There is a specific contingency for if the Kaspik Wardens fail to perform their duty, which it cannot be denied they have. The southern kingdoms are supposed to rebuild the Wardens, but I think it would be very easy for Lord Amvion to argue their ineffectiveness precludes the necessity of doing so. There is, however, one group in the Forest that has been singularly effective time and again, one that I think could serve as an excellent substitute for the Kaspik Wardens under the terms of the treaty.”
“You want the Forest Band to become the new Wardens? And you think the southern kingdoms might actually agree to this?” asks Merek.
Gidie nods. “I do. Honestly, I have no idea, but they trust you. If we can convince them the treaty and its contents are still important, I think we have a chance here. Harfor, what do you think?”

"If they trust us, and we are able to convince them the treaty must be upheld, then we can do it."

"Good. I hoped you would think so. Now, Lord Amvion has informed me that the invitations are being sent out today, with the meeting hopefully taking place in a few days. I would like all of you to come there discreetly and help me to present our plan if necessary." Harfor, Merek, Kalena, Captain Tiberius, and the captain of the guard leave.
OOC: That's all I have for you for now. Once we get closer to the meeting, I'll post some more. In the meantime, if you want to be making posts, you can interact with the other people in the Forest Band.

OOC: Not got much else to say tbh.
OOC: Okay, that's fine. I'll let you know when there's more to do.
