"Well, in any case: do please keep me informed on what goes on here. 'Twouldn't do to have a conflict here. From what I hear, there are 'brigands' about. At least according to Amvion."
"Yes, I will make sure to do that, though I haven't heard anything about brigands."
"Which would seem to suggest he was referring to people who are not brigands as such. Do you know who exactly he may have been referring to, if not actual brigands?"

Gidie seems to be growing more flustered. "Um, well, Lord Amvion did say he was having trouble with the Forest Band. That's the reason he's visiting. I suppose, um, that might be what he's referring to."

"Oh. Great. We've gotten to the point where we dehumanize and criminalize officially recognized groups of people who aren't criminals... that's just lovely."
{JAMMERS! -Rulejj, and Forest Band Members- ONLY!} Karthon, Siku, Harfor, and the rest of the troops arrive some distance from the castle. They work quietly on camouflage. A messenger is sent to Gidie to inform him that the soldiers going to the Dragon Kingdom are on their way and the border patrol is posted and the troops are in position to the north on the castle, where the trees are thick

OOC: Whoops, I missed this.
IC: "Oh, I'm, uh, not sure it's as bad as all that."
Before anything more can be said, a soldier comes in, "Lord Gidie, there's a messenger for you."
Gidie nods and turns to Lord Ackar, "If you'll excuse me for a moment. . . ." He floats away.

Ackar finds a nearby chair to sit in. That is, a chair that can support his weight.

After a few minutes, Gidie returns, looking a little more confident. "Sorry about that. Now, um, what were we talking about?"
"I believe we were talking about the legal status of these ruins and how Lord Amvion's inaccurate terminology in the way he refers to the Forest Band might make him unfit to delegate on the Dragon Kingdom's behalf. Does that sound like a fair assessment?"

Gidie pales for a second, but then shakes his head and sits up straighter on his carpet. Calmly, he floats over to Ackar. "Why are you here, Ackar? What do you want from me?"

"Yes, fine. Now, are you wanting to be here when Amvion arrives? It shouldn't be too long."
"Of course. No trouble at all. I'm not sure quite how long you're going to be here, so would you like to be shown to a room?"
"Oh I didn't know you had rooms. That would be lovely."
"Yes, there are quite a few unoccupied rooms. I'll have one of the servants show the way." He calls out to the hallway and a man in Dragon Knights livery enters, motioning for Ackar to follow him.
