Harfor calls his leaders together, out of the earshot of Kalena. "We have a problem. Our allies, the dragon knights, have violated an ancient treaty which banned them from the Great Forest. Our friends, those from the Kaspik Wardens excisted to enforce that treaty and now members of our group, specifically a soldier named Kalena, are upset. We have a few options. We could A: Ignore the problem, risking losing members of our team B: Send messengers to the wizard in the ruins and to the Dragon knights asking the Dragon Knights to vacate the Ruins of the Pine Forest, risking diplomatic strains and rejection or C: take the ruins by force, ending our friendship with the Dragon knights and risking men and failure.
I say B, sir. We shall start with a peaceful solution. We must always do our best to maintain peace, across the kingdoms.

When Goatie has gotten out of sight from the gathering, he sees a figure leaning against a tree. The figure steps out of the shadows and Goatie recognizes her face - it is Kalena, the woman who Harfor said started this whole Dragon Knights business in the first place. "Daru saw you gathering and led me to you. I heard what they said, what they want do do, and what you said. You're right; the Dragon Knights can't be allowed to occupy that fortress. I don't want to fight if I don't have to. Let them try their diplomacy first. But if it doesn't work, I mean to do something about it. Will you help me?"
