"A wizard named Gidie and a small detachment of dragon knights
OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong
"Dragon Knights. They cannot be there. Maybe I will talk to this wizard."
OOC: That's more or less right.
Harfor, who had also been there to meet the scouts comes in: "Be wary. Be sure that the conversation is peaceful. The wizard can be kind but he is also powerful. Do not anger him. But for now, could you further explain the issue with them being there? I know you and your Kaspik group are upset but I am still unsure why."

"I have no quarrel with the wizard, so long as he doesn't serve any kingdom. The Kaspik Wardens were 'upset'. There are no Kaspik Wardens now, only me, so I must be 'upset' for all of them. Nearly a thousand years ago, the Treaty of Kasp, which ended the War of the Stags, demanded that all of the Southern Kingdoms vacate the Great Forest. The Kaspik Wardens existed in large part to enforce that treaty. And now the Dragon Knights violate the treaty. Someone needs to stop them." She stomps away angrily.

Harfor calls his leaders together, out of the earshot of Kalena. "We have a problem. Our allies, the dragon knights, have violated an ancient treaty which banned them from the Great Forest. Our friends, those from the Kaspik Wardens excisted to enforce that treaty and now members of our group, specifically a soldier named Kalena, are upset. We have a few options. We could A: Ignore the problem, risking losing members of our team B: Send messengers to the wizard in the ruins and to the Dragon knights asking the Dragon Knights to vacate the Ruins of the Pine Forest, risking diplomatic strains and rejection or C: take the ruins by force, ending our friendship with the Dragon knights and risking men and failure.

Goatie, brushing Jednook's feathery back with a curry comb, listened in on the talk. He was unsure if he had a say.

I say B, sir. We shall start with a peaceful solution. We must always do our best to maintain peace, across the kingdoms.
