The Black Knight's sword connects with Blaze's back. Blaze yells in rage, runs up, grabs both of them by the throat and slams them into the ground.

IC: Alpida, her strength rivaling Blaze's, tears free from his grip if necessary, rolls to her feet, and circles around to be near the Black Knight and away from the arm that had grabbed her. As soon as she sees an opening, she goes back on the offensive.

IC: Having hit the ground hard, stood up immediately, found his nephew and dragged the youth behind a rock for safety, Sobald waits for a lull before checking on Bandy and finally reading the note.
'Hmm,' muses Sobald, clenching the note in his fist and frowning at the manner of the writing. He isn't sure what to do yet - he is tired, his head too foggy to comprehend the message. First things first. Bandy is in need of help, for his wound is bad. Sobald cannot see anyone in the mist at this point.
Sobald decides to wait - see to Bandy's wound - and wait...
Bandy's eyes glow a strange dark purple. Meanwhile, the wolfs bounds over to them for round two.
Sobald frowns at a violet light emanating from his nephew's face, noticing it out the corner of his eye.
Then his attention is taken up by the same wolf that had attacked them bounding headlong towards him. He braces himself for the attack, sword ready.
'Wulff!' he calls his horse's name, shaking his head at the irony. He strains his ears hopefully for the reassuring sound of his great black steed's thundering hooves - although he doubts he will hear them under the loud growling of the wolf, if at all.

Blaze catches Alpida, but the force sends him flying backwards. He holds her in a headlock. "Give it up! Succumb you Ogre!"

They turn right and head about twenty feet down before coming to a stop as a room opens up before them. It is approximately square, twenty feet a side, and empty. There are no other exits.

With the two opponents locked together, the Black Knight grabs a sword from the ground and swings it at Blaze. "It is you who should give up, old friend. I don't know what has happened to you, or how you still live, but it doesn't matter. I am the Black Knight, the rightful ruler of this kingdom! I will destroy you as I did the last time, and as I did the pretender!"

Blaze struggles to remove her arm to no avail.
Out of the corner of his eyes, Blaze sees the black Knight coming and shifts so that Alpida takes some of the hit as well. He then throws Alpida several feet away and collapses into the earth, seething. "You always were so very vain, weren't you my lord." Blaze wearily gets to his feet and throws a shaky punch at the Black Knight, his fist engulfed in flames.
