Welcome to the Shadow Warriors HQ! The Shadow Kingdom is bordered to the south by the Dragon Kingdom, to the west by the Lion Kingdom, to the North by the Forest, and to the east by the Endless Sea. The castle is shrouded in mist and difficult to see with the untrained eye.
Positions Black Knight: Open (LegoBuilder has priority for this position) General (x2): Open Captain (x2): Open Shadow Guard Commander (x1): RuleJJ Shadow Guard (x5): Open x4 (1 spot claimed by RuleJJ) Soldier (infinite)
One year ago, Lord Valithor, the previous Black Knight, disappeared in the Xain Invasion. No one has been found to replace him and the kingdom is teetering towards chaos. This problem is heightened by the loss of the old Shadow Guard and the lack of new recruits for this highly valued position.

It's time to post my first character profile!
Alpida Class: Knight/Rogue Gender: Female Age:1054 Race: Kriatoma (Grayling) Description: Alpida is a young-looking woman with gray skin and gray eyes. Her hair is shoulder-length and dyed jet black, as is the requirement for all members of the Shadow Guard. She wears leather armor and scale mail over a black shirt and black leggings. There is a scar on the left side of her face and her left eye is covered by an eyepatch. Equipment: Alpida wields a large scimitar too heavy for any human to use. Backstory: Alpida trained as a warrior with the other Kriatoma, until she joined Velasco of Nacinazélo's team (also included Elowyn Sorolign, Damantus the Blue, Logaire Adarcafad, Edard voAraga, Pedyr Storoks, Newan Half-Giant, and Jayden Crow) after he saved her life. As a member of said team, Alpida found the Crystal of Souls and helped to save the world. After that, she traveled with Velasco and Edard for many years before Velasco had a vision of the future. He bade Alpida go to the House of Stags and enter stasis in their dungeon. He said that only if she did this would the world be safe. Believing she owed Velasco her life, Alpida did so and she stayed there for over one thousand years, until a man named Lexos arrived and woke her from her slumber. After that, she helped to defeat the Bears before joining the Shadow Warriors. Shortly before the Xain Invasion, she visited Elowyn, preserved as a tree, and was told she must find Logaire and the Kriatoma to defeat the Xains. Taking Karthon with her, she went north to find her lost people. She recruited Captain Ferran and a crew to sail to an island of Oruthal, where she awoke the Kriatoma from stasis. They helped to fight off the Xains invading Oruthal and then headed south to help the southern kingdoms. During the fighting, Alpida lost her eye to the Xain general Echain. Later, she placed Karthon and Kestrel under her protection, causing her to be banished from the Kriatoma. After the battle, she returned to the Shadow Warriors to help Garal rebuild the Shadow Guard. Position: Shadow Guard

Garal Class: Knight/Rogue Gender: Male Age: 26 Race: Human Description: Garal is a young man with a stern face. His hair is cropped short and dyed black, as is the requirement for all members of the Shadow Guard. He is average height and lean, but muscular. Equipment: Garal wields two short swords. Backstory: Garal came from one of the villages in the Shadow Kingdom. Determined to become the best warrior he could be, Garal joined the Shadow Warriors and began working his way toward the Shadow Guard. At the time of the Xain Invasion, Garal was the sixth member of the Guard, but was still considered a junior member, as he had not passed all the required tests. For this reason, he was not present on the mission where all the other members besides Bakar were smashed and Bakar lost his legs. Following the Invasion, Garal worked with Bakar, attempting to rebuild the Shadow Guard and earning the spot as its captain. Position: Shadow Guard Captain

Moving this here.
Name: Sanfor
Race: Goblin/Minotaur (Finnasnet tribe)
Gender: Male
Age: Looks about 19
Description: Pointed ears, long, tangle, flowing hair that starts low on his forehead, a sandy blonde color. His skin is the same color as his hair. He has a bit of a beard on his chins, and his arms and legs are especially hairy. He is average height. No horns. Teeth are a bit malformed, and he has a really wicked looking smile. Small squinty eyes. He tends to walk with a bit of a stoop, though if provoked he straightens out. Muscular, though doesn't look it at first glance.
Clothing: Loose canvas shirt, crossbelt, pants cut off just below the knees.
Equipment: A one-sided axe, small enough to be used for throwing, large enough for hand-to-hand combat. Long, chipped knife in belt. Backstory: Due to his parentage, he's never fit in anywhere, and never trusted. He's become wary and shy, always expecting rejection. He is a silent creature, and his intelligence is rather untested, he's not used to solving problems beyond his next meal and shelter. He has wandered in the desert many years, but has moved inland in hopes of hiring himself out somewhere.
IC: Sanfor enters the Shadow Warriors territory, warily gripping his axe.
Sanfor travels deeper in, eyes peeled for activity. The castle looms on his horizon.
There is a woman standing before the gates of the castle. She wears leather and scale mail armor and carries a huge scimitar. Her skin is gray and her hair is black.

Sanfor nods his head a bit nervously, acknowledging the welcome. "Are...are you looking for...soldiers?"
OOC: Sorry about the late reply, I've been a bit busy lately.
"I am watching for the return of the Black Knight," she says, clearly misunderstanding the question.
From atop the wall, Sanfor hears a shout. A human man stands there, in the same outfit as the woman. "Don't listen to her! We'd be glad to have your service! And Alpida, you don't have to keep doing this! Come inside!"
Alpida shakes her head. "I cannot rest until the Black Knight returns! You know that, Garal!"
Garal sighs and returns his attention to Sanfor. "Come on in!"
OOC: You're fine. The beginning of college is a busy time.

OOC: How's it going for you?
The man called Garal nods. "As my, uh, friend said, you are welcome here. If you ever need anything, or if you want to train, feel free to come to me. Or to her. She needs something to occupy herself." He scratches his head thoughtfully. "Make yourself at home. I have an idea." Garal walks over to talk to Alpida.

OOC: Are we inside the castle now, or just inside an outer gate?
