Ditch and "wall": 100% Troop Generation: 100% I now add 1,250 Goblin Mercenaries to my total numbers with the Second and Third Armies. (these are the beginnings of the Fifth army, but is not yet complete.)
Shouldn't this be stopped and delayed now that my troops entered the region? Especially as they were supposed to have advanced fairly deep into the region, and are pretty close to your forwardmost units, if you look at my posts.
Yes, troop generation is halted as soon as enemy units enter the region. And construction is essentially halted as well, as any progress made would be incremental.
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.
Tul Generas is near the edge of the region, withing sight/hearing distance of my main army, but barely, on a hill with the Uruk Marines and 10 Black Wargs (50 Sod Boxers and 40 Ninja of Udun accompanied him in secret and stealth). The 4th army is in the opposite direction, and a bit further towards your army, but nowhere near a threatening position. The second and third armies are where the Tower SHOULD be, but no longer is.
IC:
*My lord thanks you for your offer, but says that he remembers another duel that was offered in this valley, and how it ended. So he respectfully declines.*
"I am sure my Lord understands, though an Orcs Honor in a Clan-Duel is pure. However, I am sure you do not know this and have only old experience to judge from and am sure it is not a blight on his honor." OOC: I'm trying to make at least Tul Generas and his 7 clans more like the orcs from Warcraft, because that actually gives character to them. And you need character for story, which I like.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Stuff hasn't entered battle time yet, and I'm kind of assuming you stopped out of arrow range (unless you're starting the attack, it would be foolhardy to go in range beforehand.) But yeah, no. Not until you attack (although I am willing to stop production until then now that the only reason we aren't fighting is because you're busy.)

*An army of Khandish troops enter.* *2 of their legions stay with the 2nd and 3rd armies of the Orcs, and the rest join the 4th.*
I'm only making it happen today because I don't feel the need to send them back, when they are just going to stay here. It's either going to be 10,000 or 16,000 here just so you know, I'm waiting for that fact before I post my troops.

"It is also because my lord also thinks that, while it may be unwise to risk so much when a duel might settle the issue, he also believes it might be unwise to risk so much on the skill of one man."
OOC: They at least need to stay physically like Tolkien's orcs.

Please dont' move until I can respond right now I don't have time.
I was actually planning on waiting for your move (although I do want to know your troops as soon as possible)
Thank you! I had to run to get to a class.
Anyway, here are my troops:
2500 Gondor Swordsmen
2500 Gondor Spearmen
1000 Gondor Pikemen
2000 Gondor Archers
2000 Gondor Cavalry
500 Lossarnach Axemen 1000 MWE
1000 Knights of Gondor 3000 MWE
17 Onagers 170 MWE
20 Mangonels 160 MWE
6 Siege ballista 72 MWE
11 Ballista 77 mwe
7 Scorpions 21 mwe
Are you far enough east that you'd be blocking me from crossing the river at the ruins of Minas Morgul? it didn't sound like it from your post. And the is ditch and wall across the valley, and where? And how high and wide are the wall and ditch? And are any of your troops west of the ditch, between the ditch and me?
*The Army advances up the valley, Spearmen and Pikemen in Front, with swordsmen behind, and archers behind them. The Axemen are in the middle of the Swordsmen, and the siege engines are just behind the archers. The Cavalry are in the rear*
*If any enemies are in range, the archers lest loose deadly volleys of arrows*

Troop Generation, maybe. Construction (and I believe Troop Generation) is mainly halted because of Battle Time. if their is no battle, then their is no Battle Time. So. . .

River? I'm essentially IN the ruins of Minas Morgul. The ditch and wall are in the Ruins of the city/Tower, blocking up the pass into the lands beyond, no larger. Their are troops in the North (The Cavalry) and troops IN the Ditch/On or behind the "wall." The Ditch is about 3 feet deep and about 3 wide. And the wall is about 2 feet high, and 5 feet wide. *The Cavalry forces, move to attempt a Flanking attack, Many of which using their bows on the crews of the Seige weapons AND the archers as soon as in range. They press on, some engaging the Cavalry, and some press inward to destroy the Seige Weapons. The first to meet your forces are the Chariots and Black Wargs.* Are your archers going to stop and shoot things that are moving behind them, or press on? *My Uruk Armorers are in the Ditch, with the Trolls in the short break between the two areas. Archers loose volleys of arrows on troops once in range.*

OOC: Oh definetely. They are still Tolkein's orcs physically, completely. I'm just giving them a bit of character and that stuff, and I feel like Warcraft has that down really well.

I nulled this, but I wasn't on until now since I decided to (I nulled it a few minutes after I couldn't edit it.)

Yes, the Morgul Duin, that runs down the valley, and in front of Minas Morgul, and then out and down to join the Anduin south of Osgiliath. The road running into the valley from the west is on the north side
of the stream, and when it is opposite Minas Morgul turns and crosses the river over a bridge, from which a road runs up to Minas Morgu on it's rocky seat. I don't think the road through the pass would
actually go through Minas Morgul, as the road is in the depths of the valley and Minas Morgul is on a rocky seat above the valley. I suppose Minas Morgul could block the valley, but it could just be that the
road through the pass runs down by the river, on the south side, and joins the road to the city about where it crosses the bridge.
So, before we continue, are you blocking my passage over the river? personally I didn't think you'd be that far east yet, as we entered the topic at about the same time.

Nope, I'm in the ruined Citadel right by the mountains. Well, just in front of it anyway. Minus my Cavalry, but they are not too far off. I probably wouldn't be, and I also prepared troops at the base, not in the Vale in General. Also, I'm assuming that you're talking about the Morgul Vale for the most part, not the city.
