Hello there, and welcome to the Disney Movie Club! This club is basically a modified version of a book club (more magic and fun craziness thrown in, of course ). Please read all the rules before joining.
~Terms, Conditions, And Things I May Have Forgotten~
1. Every three weeks (more or less; I'm not known for keeping a good schedule ) a Disney movie will be selected for the club to watch -- in real life. This is not a RP.
2. All the members will be given roughly two weeks to find and watch the movie by some means IRL.
3. If a particular movie assigned happens to be one that, for example, you just watched a couple days ago, not knowing what the assignment would be, just check with me on that. I'll most likely let you skip it so you don't have to watch it two days in a row.
4. If for some reason a member can't find a way to watch/access a movie, or if they're simply too busy to do it in those two weeks, don't worry! You won't get thrown out. Just tell us about it so we don't wonder what happened to you, and you can skip the assignment if needed.
5. After the two weeks to watch the movie are up, we'll all come back here and discuss it! No, you don't have to give a report on it or anything, relax. We'll take approximately one week to share our thoughts and chat about the movie, before the next assignment is listed.
So I think that's basically it -- pretty simple, right? New members are welcome at any time! Just drop a post here if you want to join!
If anyone else is interested in joining, you may do so at any time and join right up with whatever movie we're currently watching. Of course, if you join in the middle of an assignment, you won't have as much time to watch the movie.
Well, without further ado, the assignment for our first meeting is...
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! (1937)
I figured what better movie for our first assignment, than the first full-length animated Disney film ever made? (The year is listed just for clarification; in case we end up watching remakes in the future, you'll know which version to look for. )
All club members will be given roughly two weeks to watch this movie, and -- depending on how busy I am -- will be called back to the club approximately August 30th to chat about it! If you have any questions, just let me know. Otherwise, happy movie watching, and I'll see y'all back here in about two weeks to discuss Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

I'll see if I can watch it. I've seen it once before, but I don't know if I'll be able to watch it again if I'm unable to access it. I think I still remember how the story went.

Awesome! That moment when you look back on a random idea you had and you open your eyes and realize that it's become a reality. . . O.O
I'll do my best to get my hands on this movie -- and I'll probably get my sister Narwhal to watch with me. I don't know about Mock, but he might, for the sake of Dopey. Gosh, I haven't seen this movie in years. . . o.o

Excellent! (I had a feeling you'd start with Snow White. )
Okay, so I own Snow White on DVD (assuming we still have it, I'm gonna go check, be right back.) *5 minutes later*
I HAD A SUCCESSFUL MISSION! I will watch Snow White sometime this weekend/next week! I can't wait! It's a great first pick since it's the first FULLY ANIMATED FEATURE DISNEY FILM WOOT WOOT! (Sorry, I have a boatload of energy right now. )
I've ordered Snow White on Netflix, and it is on its way. Surprisingly, my siblings Narwhal and Mock are both up for watching it with me. That'll make it more fun.
