Hello Lolli and RomeNZ !! I made this so we could plan in semi privacy.
What should we start developing first? Characters. Plot. Settings. Other?
For later convenience, here is Essa's couch!
And here, is my last comment on the matter:
...Comprised of the Quenya Esse, and Riel. Riel translated to mean "garlanded maiden" It is derived from riellë, which means "a maiden crowned with a festival garland." That said, Esseriel roughly means "The first maiden crowned with a festival garland," or more simply "First garlanded maiden." This brings us to an interesting area which, if Essa choses this name, would exposite some information about her character. Such as the fact that she was obviously the first in her House to be garlanded for some festival, or at all. This could be because of beauty, talent, or skill. Whatever the reason, she was named for it...
In the fourth age Lothlórien, east Lórien, as well as Eryn Lasgalen (Sindarin for wood of green leaves, known as Mirkwood before Sauron's darkness was lifted.) are almost depleted of elves, no more than a thousand still live there if I were left to guess.
There are several places an elf could originate from in the fourth age. Ithilien for example, housed a small colony of Elves of Mirkwood and former residents of Elven kingdoms in the north for a century during the reign of King Elessar II. However many Elves left for Valinor after Elessar's death in FO 120.
Lindon, where the Grey havens are is a good place to find Elves, but many of these are only transients for Valinor. Lothlórien by this time is almost deserted, the people there either gone to Valinor with their ruler Celeborn, or else to east Lórien. Though I surmise thus; that the elves of east Lórien were further depleted in their populous by the move to colonize Ithilien, which also left the Wood of green leaves (Eryn Lasgalen) at a lower population. The remaining elves, obviously not wanting their kingdom to fall out of grace so gracelessly, joined together to form a yet-to-be named kingdom of Silvan elves (And possibly half elves?). I made a map where two kingdoms are highlited. The first (green) is the reunited kingdom of men, the second (Yellow) is the Unnamed elven kingdom.

Okay, If we work on the setting, that will guide our characters developement and if we get at least vague character descriptions up, that will dictate the plot for the most part, so, here comes a load of lore!

Of the history of the Fourth Age we have little more than hints, and nothing at all of any substance after the second century of the Age. Most of what we know is restricted to the Shire and the Reunited Kingdom, which is natural as these two regions were the source of the histories of the Third and earlier Ages.
During this period, the Shire became more important in the wider politics of Middle-earth. By the edict of King Elessar, Men were banned from its borders, but it remained nonethless a part of the North-kingdom. The Thain, the Master of Buckland and the Mayor of the Shire were all made royal counsellors. When this arrangement was made in IV 13, these offices were all held by members of the Fellowship: respectively, Peregrin Took, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Samwise Gamgee. It's unclear whether this tradition persisted after others took over their roles.
Across the wider lands, a peace descended, and though Elessar still at times rode against distant foes, for the people of the Two Kingdoms this was a time of prosperity and plenty. King Elessar himself gave up his life in IV 120, and was succeeded as High King by his son Eldarion. As time passed, the Shadow of Sauron became a distant memory, and strange cults and societies grew up in Gondor. These were the subject of Tolkien's abandoned sequel to The Lord of the Rings, entitled The New Shadow: the few pages of the story that he completed can be found in volume 12 of The History of Middle-earth.
31 The Westmarch is officially incorporated into the Shire.
63 Death of King Éomer of Rohan; he is succeeded by his son Elfwine.
120 Death of King Aragorn II Elessar of Gondor; he is succeeded by his son Eldarion.
172 A copy of the Red Book of Westmarch is completed in Gondor by Findegil, the King's Writer. This is the last event chronicled by Tolkien.
And finally, a scan in of a more accurate map:

Lol, in Tel Quessar I got, Essa=name and Riel=garland. I always thought it was funny how the nickname I picked meant.....name. Anywho, are we planning to write the story from only Non canon characters POV. Or are we doing some from people like, already existing characters and ones like Eldarion, and such?

We can't really mess up non-canon portrayals. But including canon characters as secondary characters, if done in moderation, wouldn''t be a bad idea from time to time.

Soooo..... Use non-canon, but throw in canon in moderation to ground the story?

Awesome! I usually have to explain that part. Now, we must awa- no, wait... Nono, we must um... It'll come to me when I don't need it...

Okay. XD We must…….continue even though RomeNZ has not visited in a while? I think we should compile a vauge and not final cut list of non canon and canon characters we think should be included in the story. Then we can go over the list and talk about any we want to add/nix/or adjust. Whadda ya say?

Yes, we probably should continue even though RomeNZ has not visited in a while. The canon characters will be pretty easy, then our individual main characters, as well as main secondary characters won't be too hard, but I'd say anyone outside of that will appear as the need in the plot arises.

Yes, tis a shame. He should be here. True, I shall attempt to compile later.
*flops miserably onto my couch that Lolimon, thankfully, brought in* Sorry mellons, I dun let ya'll down. I was supposed to be helping get da character lists, but I got busy. Well all past regrets aside I'll start on that for realzies now. *Begins snacking on chocolate dipped pretzels and planning*
Soooooer, as potential semi-canon characters I will dump my fanfic characters I have accumulated over the years since 2014.
These all are in the timeline of fourth age to forever until they die.
There's or course Aragorn and Arwen who obviously had Eldarian (who has a twin sister named Diadem) and potentially other children.
We all need to decide whether LegolasXTauriel is a thing so I know whether to come up with characters there or not. I know all the males here (so everyone who's NOT me) will probably hate to have to talk about fanships/relationships but it needs to happen.
I always imagined that Faramir and Eowyn had son (we'll call him Eomir for now. ) and a daughter.
And now the completely made up characters. Using another person's character Corathon son of Haldir (not the one that died in the movies).
Threndil (legolas's younger brother) from my my first ever story on the galleries that lasted only a few chapters before the place ended. And his, much later in the story that I never got to make, girlfriend Celebsilime (which translates to silver starlight).
And also originally someone else's character Tauren, Tauriel's older brother.
And the young she-dwarf (?) Val.
So if any of these might/should/can be used I can give more in depth bio's. Like all brainstorms the above content may be complete garbage and unfit for this story but I hope at least some of it will be good. Thoughts opinions? I also have drawn most of these characters so I will include their descriptions if I end up doing a deeper bio.
