*flops out of a portal, me having a full beard and a graduation cap on* GAH, WHERE HAVE I BEEN, WHAT TIME IS IT?! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SITE’S NAME, WHERE AM I AGAIN?! >w<
Very cool. Any tips you can give me for transitioning from LDD to Stud.io?
Well, when you choose a piece to use, it will keep dispensing that same piece every time you click. To stop this, just right click on the mouse. I personally had a lot of trouble with that, until I found that out from a video.
And then you can move the screen about with - ''right click'' -and- ''space bar+left click. ''
Then there are lots of keyboard shortcuts, like ''C'' for cloning a piece, and ''Shift+S'' to save a model, and ''Shift+Z'' to undo something.
Thanks for the tips. Those are all good things to remember. Hopefully I can get accustomed to the keyboard shortcuts.

*Raises an eyebrow* '' 1- is that a question? 2 - I don't know where you have been, 3 - that depends, 4 - it was voted into the deeps depths of non-existence, 5 - I should like to know that to. *puts monocle in eye*

That's epiiiic. OwO How long does it normally take you to make these pictures?
Thanks so much! I can't quite remember how long this one in particular took (it's from 2017 lol) but nowadays this would take about 2-3 hours (?) from sketch to final product
Awesome. What do you think is the best way to find the bricks you're looking for on Stud.io? That's the part I seem to struggle with the most.
Well, you can type the name of the piece, or the amount of studs on it, for example - 2x2, 1x2 etc. Or, you can just select a category, and scroll through it, but that takes a while. I think the more you use it, the better you will know where each piece will be.

That's a good idea. I'll try those techniques out and hopefully I'll get used to it. Is there a way to hide elements from the palette, or create custom palettes with only certain elements?

If you want to hide something from a palette, just right click on the piece, then click hide.
To make a palette, just click on the bar that says ''Master'' It should be on the right of your screen. Then click '' add palette'', name it, if you want, and that's that. To add something to a palette, just right click on a piece and then choose which palette you want to add it to.

Awesome. That's perfect! There's a lot of pieces I probably won't use, so it'll be good to have them out of the way and make it less cluttered.

I know what you mean. I'll probably never use the bionicle pieces, or some of the bigger technic pieces.

Cool! I can't do digital art for the life of me, so things like this look very impressive to me.
