Well, when you choose a piece to use, it will keep dispensing that same piece every time you click. To stop this, just right click on the mouse. I personally had a lot of trouble with that, until I found that out from a video.
And then you can move the screen about with - ''right click'' -and- ''space bar+left click. ''
Then there are lots of keyboard shortcuts, like ''C'' for cloning a piece, and ''Shift+S'' to save a model, and ''Shift+Z'' to undo something.
