When do you think the next series of LEGO Castle sets will come? It has been a while since it was last around. You could say Nexo Knights is a Castle subtheme, but I would hardly call it that considering it all high tech and everything:S. I am talking real medieval Castle.

Is that true?! As a kid growing up I LOVED medieval stuff! Matter of fact, my favorite video game as a kid was a medieval RPG called Runescape! Not just that, but as a kid I would take pipes and smashed them with hammers to make swords. Then me and my friends would fight each other with them! All in all, my childhood was HEAVILY medieval based. I also have tons of older Castle sets and played with them a lot. I guess I don't know what today's kids like though as I don't know any kids:S.

I don't mind Nexo Knights, but I don't consider it part of the LEGO Castle theme. I think we should get an actual medieval theme to go along with Nexo Knights. I hope it's not 2020, that's too long:(.

Not necessarily. Castle wasn't retired THAT long ago. It is still possible they make a new reboot while Nexo Knights is still around, especially if Nexo Knights is long-lasting like Ninjago.

Because people like medieval sets. Despite most themes being a wave or two, the sets have actually been popular and sold pretty well. That's the reason there is almost always an active Castle subtheme. Castle 2007 was so popular it lasted YEARS. Knights Kingdom II lasted a while too.

Because kids like "new" stuff. LEGO themes are usually so short because the kids that liked it grew up and they need to start a new story from scratch to keep the target audience interested.

Seems legit:P its kinda sad the younger generation seem to be fading out of the toys and into smartphones:P

Nexo Knights doesn't have that Ninjago charm. It'll probably be just another Chima.
