I have decided (as LordTigress sort of suggested) that Emerald will come out of the time vortex in 2010. What that means is before the pilot episodes, and she meets Wu. Her power I have kind of changed to one that amplifies other people's elemental powers, so that's how Krux and Acronix made a Time vortex without wanting to. What she does is sneak around (she's good at that) and help augment the fledgling powers of the Ninja when they need help so they still feel like they did it themselves. (I.e. when they learn Spinjitzu or reach their True Potential, they had to do it on their own, but they also had a little bit of help.)
The idea that she came through the vortex early and her power amplifies other elemental powers probably won't change, but what exactly she helps with during the story might be a bit different.

Hmm, well there are random times that ninja seem strangely powerful, those kinda come up at random though. What about when they are unlocking their elemental dragons or something?

I just had another idea: you know when the Ninja are trying to destroy the Mega Weapon with their Golden Weapons? Well, since they should be equal in power, that never really made sense, so Emerald helped the Ninja destroy it.

I'll have to figure out the timeline here, though, because she was born later than Garmadon and Wu . . . we could say that she was just born right then and because they live for so long she stayed a baby for years.
