*The small group stops and stares for a moment. Then, despite the fact that she's probably the youngest of the group, Tigress says with a hint of a amusement in her voice:* Let's move along now, kids.
-Dr. Farquad looks at the situation and walks up to them, bowing- “Ah yes, i think such a situation requires my services of having my doctorates in MEdical and theoretical sciences...” -he said with an odd grin-
“You children all investigating the recent death that often makes another hotel, which i forgot it’s name, seem like an minor OSHA Safety Hazard?” -he said, looking at the supplies of journals, pictures and whatnot-
(OoC: What hashappened so far? I need pointers.)
OoC: I'm not sure if an OSHA type organization exsists in the Lego world, but okay.
"Wait we're not..." Lolimon begins, knowing that most present were definitly not children. "... Er, excuse me for asking, sir, but how much sleep have you gotten in the past fe-"
"NONE." Lolimon was cut off by the diplomat. Apato pulled up his sleeve, revealing several coffee labeled patches. "They're called Caffeine patches, each one is equal to twelve cups of coffee- I'VE BEEN AWAKE FOR DAYS!"
Lolimon took a cautious step back. "Did you invent them yourself, then?"
"Pish posh, what kind of diplomat do you take me for? I stole the idea, of course!" Apato stated matter-of-factly.
"Who put that... Er, your skeleton in the girls' closet, then?"

(OOC: Character controlling much...? ) -Apato grumbled- “Somebody else, most likely, maybe the same person whom casually murdered the murderee.” -He’d grunble, sipping more and more of that coffee.-
(OOC: Yeah, that controlling action... didn’t fly well with me. )
OOC: Yeaaaaa kay, so the way this works is you get clues and then you use the bios to figure out who it is. So the first clue is simply to set basic beginning parameters for your suspicions. The next clue narrows it down further and so on. After you have only a few people or suspect someone strongly it becomes crunch time and people start risking it by accusing. If you do get it right you win, if you don't risk it at all you live but someone else gets to win. So yeah I made it super vauge because that's the way the game works and I can't just give you all the answer, you're supposed to make an educated guess. So visiting the second clue will help you narrow things down little but still be fairly vauge. Make sense?
OoC: But the question becomes who doesn't have at least one notebook like that? If anything this already met a presupposed parameter as the majority of the bios are for artists or writers. So, to me at least, it didn't help at all. Also, if it really does play like that then at least give us a red herring, or more than one user to suspect. Right? So like, what on earth was Apato the diplomat doing in Tigress's and Leaf's closet? granted it's a okay joke but what was his motive? Well, somebody put his toy skeloton in there, but how did he know where to look for it? How was he able to freely access another hotel room without a key? these questions all demand answers, but because it distracts from the main mystery, we all dismiss it. It making sense doesn't always mean I approve of it.
OOC: I can't emphasize the bios enough. You need to look in the bois. That's the whole purpose of the bois are to give you a way to narrow it down since I can't literally construct an entire world with all five senses and complete logic for 5+ people. Right, the first one is very very vague but should seem to eliminate at least one person. Like I said, check out the second clue which helps slightly more. The game involves a lot of following hunches and guesses from the gut. As for Apato and situations like that this is a RP with users that do what they want. I cannot and will not attempt to micromanage peoples' actions (even if I do keep an eye on things and make sure it doesn't get too crazy). So I wouldn't read deeply into any of the users actions, only offical posts by the host. The users don't know who the bad guy is so they can't have any MO. To be completely blunt the game doesn't always make 100% clear sense in the way you may wish it too and probably never will.

(OoC: TheFirstDecade The above quote has the main points of what just happened. I just quoted Essa because I'm lazy.
Also quoting Essa: (About the second smashing and its clues:) "This lady seems to have been smashed by a sharp implement. They found a piece of paper with a drawing of a sunset in purple and blue shades with a short poem written at the bottom. Also there was a marshmallow in the bushes nearby."
Hope that helps. :3)
-Apato looked intrested in this case- “Any other forensics to think of? I can most likely sample the DNA off the marsh if you want me to.”
*Leaf peers up from the photos* DNA...sampling? *The photographer turns to the new arrival with excitement* You can do that, Mr. Farquad? If you have the drawing and the marshmallow, would that be enough?
*Her smiles drops* Of course, we'd have to find them first....The Jayclones could've cleared them from the scene already...

OoC: What makes that terrible is what you can't emphasize enough is something I am already aware of and, up til this round, have practiced, and find it more than slightly patronizing for you to assume that I haven't. Seems to and does are two very different things. Deductive reasoning sounds much better than gut and hunches to me.
That's not what I was talking about. the users tend not to follow each other directly, as in one users RP post their group's on the third floor, and in another's in the group immediatly following, they're suddenly on the ground floor. I know they do random and useless things, but should it not be your job to tie their actions semi-coherently into the plot? Never tell people that you're going to be blunt, it can shut some people off and they won't be responsive to what it is you have to say. Not necisarilly the way I wish, rather the way it used to be.

OOC: I'm not trying to be patronizing, I wouldn't do that to a friend. I'm just doing my best not to say anything that other players might consider an unfair advantage. So I end up repeating myself. And so it usually is, but that's how this game is going to have to be played. It's going to have to be educated guesses. That's the best I can do. :/ I'm sorry that happens, and I could follow everyone around and tie their posts together but from the most part people are getting along, tagging which is very helpful and not fighting in the round. I don't really see any harm in the discrepancies and from what I've seen most people don't like to have someone hovering over them all the time and correcting their posts for them. However if you discover and show that the vast majority of the players would prefer me to tie their posts I can do it. The plot is very very loose since it's not really a story. I'm just blunt, it's who I am. They can be turned off and miss it. Why are we talking about me suddenly? XD I can never make it how it used to be. Actually for a first time host I think it's going okay.
