OoC: What makes that terrible is what you can't emphasize enough is something I am already aware of and, up til this round, have practiced, and find it more than slightly patronizing for you to assume that I haven't. Seems to and does are two very different things. Deductive reasoning sounds much better than gut and hunches to me.
That's not what I was talking about. the users tend not to follow each other directly, as in one users RP post their group's on the third floor, and in another's in the group immediately following, they're suddenly on the ground floor. I know they do random and useless things, but should it not be your job to tie their actions semi-coherently into the plot? Never tell people that you're going to be blunt, it can shut some people off and they won't be responsive to what it is you have to say. Not necessarily the way I wish, rather the way it used to be.
OOC: I'm not trying to be patronizing, I wouldn't do that to a friend. I'm just doing my best not to say anything that other players might consider an unfair advantage. So I end up repeating myself. And so it usually is, but that's how this game is going to have to be played. It's going to have to be educated guesses. That's the best I can do. :/ I'm sorry that happens, and I could follow everyone around and tie their posts together but from the most part people are getting along, tagging which is very helpful and not fighting in the round. I don't really see any harm in the discrepancies and from what I've seen most people don't like to have someone hovering over them all the time and correcting their posts for them. However if you discover and show that the vast majority of the players would prefer me to tie their posts I can do it. The plot is very very loose since it's not really a story. I'm just blunt, it's who I am. They can be turned off and miss it. Why are we talking about me suddenly? XD I can never make it how it used to be. Actually for a first time host I think it's going okay.
OoC: I'm glad to hear that. Honestly, so far in the game I haven't been a major player, I have been a major plot device, but not as far as using my knowledge of the case to solve it, more just conviniently being in the right place at the right time, trying my best to keep it flowing consistantly enough so I can keep up.
Essa, that is literally all deduction is.xP Deduction is the inference of particular instances by reference to a general law or principle, or as you call it, educated geussing.
one would think that getting along and coherance of plot would go hand-in-hand. if nothing else, our users could assume the responsibility of explaining themselves and their OC's motives more clearly. Um, no, you wouldn't be correcting their posts, you'd be finding innovative and creative ways to tie their stuff into the loose plot. Vast majority? There aren't enough of us to be vast anything. No, if I wanted to prove you wrong I'd start my own 'game' and design it as more of a quasi-structured co-op and work from there. I'm beginning to think that even if I did, you wouldn't be able to. Maybe that'll come in handy someday, but being tactful can be as simple as knowing when to speak up and when not to: being blunt is usually not knowing when not to.xP And you can lose players that way - tact es mas importante. That's not to say it was golden back then either, I just miss the deductive reasoning filled conversation and actually detective-type work which has been replaced by all this RP stuff. Yeah, okay's definitly a word I'd use.

Honestly, so far in the game I haven't been a major player, I have been a major plot device, but not as far as using my knowledge of the case to solve it, more just conveniently being in the right place at the right time, trying my best to keep it flowing consistently enough so I can keep up.

OOC: Yeah I've seen some of that taking place. Yep, and it's just going to have to be a little less education and a little more guessing in this version. You have a fair opinion and I can see what your saying but as I've stated before I'm not planning to force that upon any of the players at this point. However I will take it into consideration. Not editing directly yes, but correcting them in a different way. They would say something and I would be either hovering and constantly redirecting them or in some cases if the action is impossible actually correcting them. Vast majority of a small group, whatever term you want to use. It was actually simply another option not really a dare to prove me wrong. Wouldn't be able to what? Yes, I did hold a job where tact was very important and did quite well in it. However I am going to be blunt at times. Actually it was quite turbulent and stop and go back then. XD Well that's how this is going to go for now. I'm doing what I can and okay will have to be enough.

OoC: Yeah. Not on my watch. It doesn't seem that you do. It wouldn't be forcing anything on anyone, and quite honestly I'm having trouble finding how you could have read that into what I said. Based upon my experience with that phrase, I highly doubt that. No, and here it comes up again, listen, if you don't want to put forth the effort just say so, Miss Blunt, my feelings won't be greatly hurt.xP Just say majority, vast is superlative to the context was all I was saying. I don't believe that, even if you wanted to, you could tie the post together - and that's my opinion, blunted for your viewing pleasure. Did others recognize that you did, or is that just your observation? Because I can say I did quite well in math based on how I felt about my answers, but that doesn't mean that I was fantastic. Avoid that. If you have a choice to be blunt or tactful, always be tactful, because sometimes through tact your bluntness can be harnessed more that just a fed up lashing someone with your own opinion. You didn't play it on the galleries, did you? Well I can't seem change your course, though there be danger in it, so go right ahead with mediocre. I don't always watch the world burn but when I do I do it in style.
