Let’s take a look at different types of Relationships: Conflict, Romance (Just the surface to stay with in the rules), Family, and Friends.
In this Lesson, we will focus on Conflict.
Conflict can resolve around many things. It can be a life-long battle between two mortal enemies, or as simple as a small fight. It can also be a short story about a fight over a valuable item.
I am currently not writing a story where there are two mortal enemies, so I’m going to do my best to come up with a scenario.
...
Ok. Say there are two kings who are rivals. One king lives on the East, the Eastern King, and the other lives in the west, the Western King. They both want the other king’s land. Over the years, they’ve hired “people” to destroy the other king so they could get their land. However, the “people” would always fail in one way or another. Well, the Eastern King is married to a beautiful woman. The woman didn’t love him, however. She grew tired of him spending a lot of time trying to destroy the Western King. Seeing that the Eastern King wouldn’t listen to her anymore, she went over to the Western King, not telling her husband.
The Eastern Queen begged the Western King to stop the fighting. He said that he will, but only if she stays with him and becomes his wife. Seeing how there was nothing exciting in her life, she agreed, but only after they go on a few dates for a couple of months and get to know each other. The Western King agreed to the idea, so the Eastern Queen returned home that night.
Every week, the Eastern Queen sneaked out of the Castle and left to go see the Western King. One night, the Eastern King called for his wife on one of the nights she was gone.
When she did not respond, he asked a few of his slaves, “Where is my wife? Where is my wife?”
One of his slaves eventually told him, “She is out with the Western King. She has been going to see him for a few weeks, now.” Enraged, the Eastern King got his sword and hurried over to the Western Kingdom. He barged into the Library where he found his Queen reading to the Western King and feeding him strawberries.
Outraged at the other King for barging in on them, the Western King stood up and drew his sword. The two Kings started to fight each other in a duel. For a good while, it seemed to be a stalemate. The Queen watched the two men in fear. Soon, the Eastern King disarmed the Western King. He was about to slice him with his sword when his wife came running in between the two screaming. Blinded by his hatred for the Western King, the Eastern King swung his sword down with all his might, destroying the Eastern Queen.
Upset over the loss of the Queen, both Kings decided from that day froth that they would do what she had asked of them and stop the fighting. The two kingdoms have lived in peace ever since.
Homework: Write a short story on conflict. DO NOT COPY MY STORY!
I actually did see that there was a new lesson. It's just that I had a math exam to study for and that I need some time to think of a short story. I have an idea, but I'll have to post it later.

K66 , sorry for nearly two months of late homework.
Here's a story about conflict in a relationship:
-- There is a group of people who owns their own diner. The group consists of an owner, some chefs, and some servers. For many years, they enjoyed cooking and serving breakfast, burgers, and desserts, and they made lots of money. Most of their customers kept coming back every day. They were doing well and it seemed like nothing could stop them.
One day, the owner realized that if he raised the prices up by one dollar, he could possibly make more money, so he changed all the menus overnight and didn't tell the rest of his co-workers. The next morning, the employees came back and didn't notice the new menus right away. When long-time loyal customers came into the restaurant, they were puzzled that the prices were higher. They thought that it would probably be just a one-time thing, so they still ate, paid, and went about their day. After the restaurant closed for the day, they counted their profits and realized it was higher than usual. Everyone was happy, but the owner began to feel more greedy. While everyone wasn't looking, he increased the prices again.
The next morning, loyal customers were deterred by the raised prices, and they were very annoyed. Most of them left the restaurant. The employees were very disappointed, as they had fewer customers than they had before. They hoped that the next day would be better.
The next day came and it was worse. No one came to the restaurant. One of the servers decided to look at the menu, and he realized that the prices were higher. He asked the owner if he changed it, and he said he did. The server was shocked, and he immediately told the rest of the employees, and they were all disappointed.
"How could you do this to us? We've lost our customers." They asked furiously. "We could make more money this way." The owner replied. "I'm sorry, but that's not what our restaurant is about. You may be the boss, but you're fired."
They kicked the owner out of the restaurant and restored the prices. They were devastated that they had to kick out their own boss, but after a few days, the restaurant was back in business.
