I don't see kids in my street either. Partly because everyone is scared of everyone... And a lot of people speed down my street. It's not very safe to play near the road. But there is a park just down the road. Nobody ever uses it.
I have a park near me but I rarely see people there during winter; kids are only there in summer.
They actually upgraded the park a few months ago. Well nobody goes outside during summer where I live. It was 39 degrees Celsius yesterday.
It depends on the needs. Most 16 year olds are out and about. So there is a need to call someone. I didn't really go out much until I was 16. So there was no need for it.
It was more of a hand-me-down phone, like nearly everything I own. Better to be that way. Makes you truly appreciate new and earned things. But I guess that's not really the norm. Kids as young a five are begging for iphones.
Kids as young as 5? Wow. My cousin has an iPhone and she is 6 so that probably makes a lot of sense.
Wow. That's crazy. No wonder LEGO created LEGO Life, if six years old have iphones.

My oldest brother didn't buy a phone until he was 18; my brother bought a very cheap one when he was 16, and he's gone through about ten.
That's a lot of phones. I can afford to by a new one, but I don't see the point on spending money on something so fragile, something that will go out of date in a very short period of time. At least you can upgrade a PC, without buying a whole new machine.
In saying that, I do like the idea of the FairPhone. It's really expensive, but I think it's time people starting thinking about how their technologies are being made.
15? That's crazy. When I was 15, I was more interested in playing sports. How could anyone that age be thinking about having kids. Especially when you're still a kid yourself.
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I wont be having children. Good and stable jobs are hard to come by. My number one priority right now is my education, work and a house deposit. I'd need to have both of those before I could even consider children and weddings. Besides, I'm much too young. I think you need to be well established to have children. So maybe 30 is a decent age. Regardless, I have always liked the name Vincent.
ikr? she literally came up to me and said "sweets, i could be engaged in 4 months" and walked off WHY IS THAT ON YOUR MIND CHILD WE HAD PHYSICS THINK ABOUT THE RADITATION FOR A SECOND
yeah, same! I really want to focus on my career and education and the one thing i dont want coming in the way of that is a kid
Calvin's always been a winner for me
Is she 16 in 4 months? Should be thinking about learning to drive.
My eldest brother done it right IMO. He starting paying for his home at 22, married at 25, paid off his house by 28, had a kid by 29. He's lucky though. He works as an asphalt lab technician. Both my second and third brothers are doing similarly well without children... If not more so. My eldest brother is very risk adverse.
That all explains why I'm not thinking about kids. That's not to say it couldn't be done with a child. It would just be a lot harder.
Lego is not going to exist for much longer. Or it will and the site will become abandoned. And the glitchy lego life will DIE!!!! That anyone can foresee. The LMBs didn't deserve to be left in the dust of that...that app known as lego life!! So obviously it is not going to survive much longer.
Probably also because of how expensive their sets are..... just saying.
Just give it a decade or two...
Yeah, that sucked Don't fix what ain't broke is what they say
Oh yeah! Who has 100 quid lying around to spend on legos these days?
Yep.
Maybe that is why Lego is slowly dying. which it totally is.
Not me. Even though I really want a $200 something set that looks soooo awesome.
Yeah, kids would now prefer to watch blonde people act stupid on the internet than expand their minds with creativity
Kids. . . .
It's now more common for me to see very small kids (4-6) playing on tablets and phones . . . really?!?
Now that is too young. My mom did have a tablet she'd let me and my siblings play on when we were younger but only for like 15 minutes. (Yes I am interrupting your pleasant conversation by disagreeing with society. )
I should probably be teaching my younger siblings how to actually play more often.
I feel guilty that I'm on my phone most of the day, I'm probably a bad example.
Same... Like hide and go seek... And tag... And hop scotch... And freeze tag... And jump rope.... That was what my childhood was based on. Not the TV. Like my siblings' childhood is. perfect Summer/Spring plan!!! I shall make sure my sibling play outside!!!
I'm the worst example ever when it comes to being off of devices!! that should probably be something I work on fixing.... heh,heh,heh.... (Yes I realize I am really random and reading through here instead of catching up. )

I used to play those games too. I didn't have a smartphone until 2013 and it was a rubbish one.

I would rather give someone a cheap android phone instead of the most expensive phones out there (some go for $1000; you can have a PC and decent smartphone for that price) Anyway, that is why you get a case and screen protector for your smartphone.

Hid and go seek is the best. Good idea! Expect I need to continue to teach my siblings how to play with toys. They really like it when I play Lego with them, they actually beg me to play with them. But whenever they play on their own they fight, about everything...
