That's true. Becoming a parent is the norm. We live in a FoMO world. Gotta do what everyone else is doing, otherwise we might miss out. People need to ask themselves "do I want a cute and cuddly accessory, or do I want a lifetime investment that requires care, love, attention and, money?"
Y E S !!!
its messed up how society works. my 15 year old friend has planned her marriage and the amount of kids she will have and the names but not what job she will have, how she will look after them, and if her current suitor is a reliable person who wont leave her
Oh, okay. I don't see kids outside anymore, it is normally in summer (may june july august) when kids are outside...
I don't see kids in my street either. Partly because everyone is scared of everyone... And a lot of people speed down my street. It's not very safe to play near the road. But there is a park just down the road. Nobody ever uses it.
I have a park near me but I rarely see people there during winter; kids are only there in summer.
But none of the other people in my family were "given" phones; they had to pay for them.
It depends on the needs. Most 16 year olds are out and about. So there is a need to call someone. I didn't really go out much until I was 16. So there was no need for it.
It was more of a hand-me-down phone, like nearly everything I own. Better to be that way. Makes you truly appreciate new and earned things. But I guess that's not really the norm. Kids as young a five are begging for iphones.
Kids as young as 5? Wow. My cousin has an iPhone and she is 6 so that probably makes a lot of sense.

What a shame, too, because winter is totally the safest and least uncomfortable season of the year. Refreshing cold AND no bugs for miles? Yes please.

My oldest brother didn't buy a phone until he was 18; my brother bought a very cheap one when he was 16, and he's gone through about ten.

we need to P A U S E and T H I N K
15? That's crazy. When I was 15, I was more interested in playing sports. How could anyone that age be thinking about having kids. Especially when you're still a kid yourself.
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I wont be having children. Good and stable jobs are hard to come by. My number one priority right now is my education, work and a house deposit. I'd need to have both of those before I could even consider children and weddings. Besides, I'm much too young. I think you need to be well established to have children. So maybe 30 is a decent age. Regardless, I have always liked the name Vincent.
ikr? she literally came up to me and said "sweets, i could be engaged in 4 months" and walked off WHY IS THAT ON YOUR MIND CHILD WE HAD PHYSICS THINK ABOUT THE RADITATION FOR A SECOND
yeah, same! I really want to focus on my career and education and the one thing i dont want coming in the way of that is a kid
Parents wonder why this generation is getting depressed, lonely and distant
its because they are alone, in their rooms, WITH NO INTERNET LIMITS, with a very dark internet, forcing how their life should be on social media
It definitely doesn't help that there's an entire generation of parents nowadays that freely curse and swear whenever they feel like it, regardless of whether or not their children are present ._.
oh yeah thats an awful thing how old are these parents, teenagers ? probably
