If you go to the Wu-Cru section of the Lego Ninjago site you will find creations there... Wait, that's gone too. Is Lego Club Magazine still around? Or is that gone as well? It also appears lego is getting geared more towards children, the only themes for older people seem to be Technic, Architecture and Creator Expert... There is still a Technic gallery as of posting but I believe that will be gone soon. It seems Lego club has been replaced by Lego Life too. The webgames aren't as good as before. If you could play a mobile version of a lego game on the lego.com site; that would be awesome! So yes, I agree the lego.com site is going downhill.
There's kind of still the new Ninjago gallery but it appears to be broken and you can't add any new creations. The LEGO Club magazine became the LEGO Life magazine and marketed for younger children :/ When was the last time they even made a web game? There's barely any reason to even go on LEGO.com anymore unless you're looking at products. It does seem like they are marketing to younger kids, not that they are forgetting older fans but.. :/

To anyone saying the company in general has kinda gone downhill, I agree with that. Not everyone agrees with this but look what they did to their products like Ninjago. They are using the movie designs from the movie (that didn't even do all that well), PURELY because they are the movie designs. And the new original designs for the villains have been kinda... Terrible IMO? :/ And then look at LEGO Friends, which they completely rebooted for no reason! :/ They didn't even change the designs much except for Olivia (a new design that find kind of offensive honestly.) so I fail to really the reason for it except for them maybe running out of ideas? But the animation style has completely changed as well and they look like they are all 12 when they're more meant to be 16 IMO LEGO definitely needs to be reminded of the term "If it's not broke, don't fix it." That applies to their products, their website, everything I mean they only got rid of the newer LEGO.com galleries and the LMB because of LEGO Life, which isn't all that great Oi, I have a lot of mixed feelings with LEGO right now. They've really lost my trust when it comes to this kind of stuff, honestly. I can still count on them to make good products, but the designs... :/
It used to appeal to teens who had jobs, so they actually had enough money to buy sets. Now they appeal to to nine and ten year olds who don't have jobs usually or money.
My oldest brother didn't buy a phone until he was 18; my brother bought a very cheap one when he was 16, and he's gone through about ten.
That's a lot of phones. I can afford to by a new one, but I don't see the point on spending money on something so fragile, something that will go out of date in a very short period of time. At least you can upgrade a PC, without buying a whole new machine.
In saying that, I do like the idea of the FairPhone. It's really expensive, but I think it's time people starting thinking about how their technologies are being made.
Yes it is. My brother called them "brick phones" and they were cheap slide phones he bought used from eBay.
It's now more common for me to see very small kids (4-6) playing on tablets and phones . . . really?!?
Now that is too young. My mom did have a tablet she'd let me and my siblings play on when we were younger but only for like 15 minutes. (Yes I am interrupting your pleasant conversation by disagreeing with society. )
It definitely is too young.
(It wasn't really a pleasant conversation and I was disagreeing with society anyway. )

That's a flip phone or something. But brick phones are those old Nokia phones you can get.

They rebooted LEGO friends? Also, I agree, LEGO Batman Movie was more successful than LEGO Ninjago movie so why change the designs? There wasn't a Lego Batman Movie Videogame but there was a Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame, and it was pretty good. (But very short)

There is a LEGO Life Magazine now? I have old LEGO Club magazines but I agree they are targeted towards younger children.

Same... Like hide and go seek... And tag... And hop scotch... And freeze tag... And jump rope.... That was what my childhood was based on. Not the TV. Like my siblings' childhood is. perfect Summer/Spring plan!!! I shall make sure my sibling play outside!!!
I'm the worst example ever when it comes to being off of devices!! that should probably be something I work on fixing.... heh,heh,heh.... (Yes I realize I am really random and reading through here instead of catching up. )
I used to play those games too. I didn't have a smartphone until 2013 and it was a rubbish one.
I don't have a phone. But I do have a kindle... useful for not many things except reading.

Hid and go seek is the best. Good idea! Expect I need to continue to teach my siblings how to play with toys. They really like it when I play Lego with them, they actually beg me to play with them. But whenever they play on their own they fight, about everything...
Same here!
Yep.
Same with my siblings. Mostly about who gets to play with who.

The decision to change the designs of the ninja to the movie designs was probably made long before the first trailer for the movie came out. There is no way they could have predicted how successful the movie would be. The decision was made to make the show more compatible with the movie, and give new fans an entry point. You shouldn't fix what isn't broken, but nothing can stop you from upgrading it.
But yes, there is definitely a lot of room to improve.
