I vote yes, as long as a Mod still reads through them before they go out. While I probably wouldn't use them for major things (like LOTR Evil side) I WOULD use them for private conversations with, say, Rule, or with the Moria HQ/Gundabad HQ.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.
It will be a nightmare for roleplayers. Because you get unprovable moves, lets say something crazy happens and so people start blocking and start doing over random stuff, and you get a massive argument, jammers are then to be read, because we have topics where there are dozens of pages of just arguing.
That is true. The Jammers still have that confirmation aspect when an issue arises. I guess it's easier to trust users to not look at Jammers that aren't addressed to them rather than trusting users to make fair roleplay moves.
But if we have both, then you use Whisper Tags for strategy and Jammers for secret moves. Or, you just do what is often done in the LOTR RP, you go:
*Secretly, all Uniform Quantum Tech is removed from S.Q.A.U.D. Base D.E.L.T.A. simultaneously with the First Defense Layer activation.*
of course, that move isn't really based around LOTR RP, but it was fun to state. Then, directly countering it can still be blocked. And typically, it's pretty hard to Metagame on accident: Either you aren't (and any action against the secret move is done as it no longer is a secret, Or done beforehand completely by accident.) or you Are (start sending out search parties for other entrances withing 1-3 moves after the secret move.)

And there are no ways to get around that then? That is perfect. Wish you could make groups though.
No, there's no way around it. You can do groups by typing in the names of everyone, but unfortunately, you can't do something like "Jedi only!", no.
Where there's a will there's a way. I'll get hired by proboards and code it.

Greetings, and welcome to the first of our feature votes!
This vote is for Whisper Tags.
All MBers are used to the concept of jammers, where you type the name of the recipient and a hidden message. However, they can be opened by other people, and you rely on other people respecting the privacy of jammers. In some cases, it doesn't matter if others see the information, as two users are just having a private chat. However, in other cases, such as strategic planning in roleplays, it can ruin everything if the other side read your jammers and know what you're going to do.
Whisper Tags are very similar to jammers - you type a name, and a hidden message. However, the key difference is that unless your username matches that of the tag, you cannot read it. Yes, you read that right - jammer-reader-proof jammers! You can enter multiple names, so that a group of people can read them. One disadvantage is that when you get a new player, you can't just say "I give you permission to read JediMasterWolf's jammers to the group." You have to copy and paste the information into a new Whisper Tag. You also can't just say "Jammers on Jedi only! No Sith!" You have to enter the username of each and every Jedi. S
As you can see, they can be more inconvenient than jammers, but are confidential. This means that Roleplayers can have private conversations without fear of the other site reading.
