Why would Batman not keep track of all his enemies, especially those who are his best friends? To Batboy, Bennet's basically an uncle. Surveillance tech would have been able to follow Clayface and this so-called Brian. Coincidences? I think not. Not only that, you left traces of clay on the doorknob.
