But Chima is not a scienc-y franchise. It's got a lot of magic.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." If we apply this reason, magic is science. Well, and if magic actually works, wouldn't it end up becoming a science? This could all develop quite interestingly.

Well weather or not the fire and ice powers are magic, I think we should phase out missiles when we get to fire vs. ice anyway. I mean, in fire vs. ice, missiles will either be useless, or really overpowered.

FLAMETHROWERS AND HAIL GUNS!!!
Of course the Fire tribes could have flame throwers. That would make sense. What's a hail gun though?
Well like I said: When it comes to Fire vs. Ice, missiles will either be completely useless, or super overpowered. Either way, they won't be good for the RP, so I think we should not use them in elemental battles. [a]

Why would they be overpowered? Enregistrer
Because missiles could go through fire and still blow up their targets, and shatter ice structures despite being frozen, according to Legobuilder. So an entire ice fortress moving across Chima could immediately be destroyed by 1 or 2 missiles, which would take away the suspense. On the other hand, the only way to have missiles not be OP in fire vs. ice, is to have them not be able to affect fire or ice powered vehicles or buildings. But then they'd be useless in the fire vs. ice conflict.
So that's why I said in FvI, missiles will either be OP, or useless.

FLAME THROWERS AND HAIL GUNS, MAN!!!
Again, what's a hail gun? If you don't tell me this time, I'll have to go to the trouble of looking it up.

This implies that Ice Hunter architects are so incompetent as to not mix other materials to make the ice more resistant, and that they should be able to get away with building superstructures out of water in relatively little time. It also implies that their buildings are blocks of ice, and don't have sections made of other materials such as wood, stone and steel.
